stevegrant Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Strange timing, thought they played well on Saturday against Arsenal. No end-of-season karaoke now
krissyboy31 Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Think he's been on borrowed time since Adam Pearson returned to the club. I think it's a bad decision but there are many around Hull who will be rejoicing.
saint_bert Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Curbishlie (sp?) to take over? Maybe make a move for Lambert at Norwich?

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Can't stand the bloke and clearly not good enough for the premiership.

ChrisPY Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Should have been doing better with the players at the club. Did a fantastic job getting them to the Prem but couldn't cut it with the big boys.

Deppo Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 I'm quite surprised. He was never the new Cloughie, though. An entertaining character, nonetheless, even with that Humber Bridge BS he came out with.
CB Fry Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Quote Can't stand the bloke and clearly not good enough for the premiership. Hull aren't good enough for the Premier League full stop. They are only there because Brown took them up and frankly he's suffered for that overachievement ever since. If he's spent the last couple of seasons finishing eighth/seventh/ninth in the CCC he'd still be in a job.

hamster Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Have the club stated that he has gone for 'footballing reasons' at all? Who do people seriously think they will try to tempt into the hotseat who might possibly be able to get hem playing well again? No time for an astute wheeler dealer, it will have to be a motivator imho. Ergo, AP will be staying with us for the time being.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 March, 2010 Posted 15 March, 2010 Pearson has said that they hope to have a new manager in place by Wednesday but ruled out it being Curbishley. I reckon it could be Jewell.
Hatch Posted 15 March, 2010 Author Posted 15 March, 2010 Did he rape those WI members, and the Barmby / Bullard thing was a cover up.
SNSUN Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 It shows the price of failure and how important the Premiership is to people. If, or rather when, we get back to the Premiership, I hope we have some seriously good investment, if not the current set up, and use it wisely, because the only way to become an established force in the Premiership is to have money and use it wisely. I didn't mind Brown, Hull have made a stupid decision, although I notice that they've only put him on gardening leave, so perhaps WHEN they go down, they'll re-appoint him?
Badger Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Paul Hart must have been at Palace for two weeks now so perhaps he is due to change and join another lost cause.
Badger Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Ayone else surprised Hull have not made an approach for Avram yet ?
