James Corden

The new comdey means not being funny. There are several non funny comedians currently making a career out of not making people laugh.

If there is such a thing as 'the new comedy', then James Corden is nothing to do with it. Gavin & Stacey is all too reminiscent of 80s dross like Terry & June.

Thank god there are other people out there who don't find him funny. Listening to Jonathan Ross say that he was one of the funniest people in Britain left me :-o and I pretty much lost all respect for Ross built up over the years, enjoying his chat show.

All in that one, misguided moment.

That other w4nker he used to knock around with too... just as unfunny.

Does anyone remember their live show? I think it got flamed after a couple of episodes...

That Horne & Corden sketch show that they did was the biggest pile of w@nk i've ever seen, so at least the pr!ck's shown that he has a bit of sense and come out and admitted that it was awful. Gavin and Stacey is really overrated as well, although I admit that it does make me laugh sometimes. Corden seems to think that he's a lot funnier than he actually is as well, which annoys me about people too.

Agree with that. I used to enjoy Ross's saturday radio show, but his friday night show on BBC makes me cringe because he is so ****ing sycophantic towards his guests. He recently descried Lady Gaga as one of the finest singing talents on the planet. Don't make me laugh.

As for James Corden, He reminds me of Chris Moyles. Seems to think that all he has to do is open his gob and come out with something crude or self-deprecating about his weight and people will fall over laughing. How wrong they both are.

You are bang on there...

I really enjoy Jonathan Ross when he's taking the ****, but if he gets a character he's not sure about he completely bottles it. I remember his interview with 50 Cent... he couldn't have climbed up his arse further if he'd tried!

I don't hate him, i don't think he's the best thing since slice bread either, someone who makes me laugh more often than not; but no Jimmy Carr. Oh and leave Jo Brand alone, one day i'll get her, Dawn French and myself into a hot-tub filled with butterscotch Angel Delight ;)

He is a hugely overrated unfunny ****. I would rather have someone hammer rusty nails up my nose than watch his new show A League Of Their Own (?).

It's not just him alone. I find there are an awful lot of supposedly talented comedy people out there who just don't make me laugh at all, and yet I hear guffaws from the audience, laughing so hard you'd think they were shot. I get the jokes or situation, but I don't think it's that funny. I suppose some people are more easily pleased.

Or maybe more cynically, they are laughing because their mates are laughing ie. peer pressure and all that, but inside they're thinking - 'this is carp' but maybe don't have the courage of their convictions.

A good list apart from the last three. I say three, but I'm not sure about Shappi Khorsandi 'cos I haven't seen her. Lucy Porter gets away with it because she is pretty.

True dat. Although Harry Hill is NOT funny, it just makes me depressed to think that people find him funny.

I fancy her, Shappi, I Mean, Well, come to think of it, both of 'em.

No women are funny. They can be funny at times, but they are not funny as a rule..

I have seen Jo Caulfield a couple of times and thought she was very good, and of course, the much missed Linda Smith who was brilliant.

List of unfunny 'comedians'

Rob Brydon

James Corden

Michael McIntyre

Andy Parsons

Hugh Dennis

Harry Hill

Shappi Khorsandi

Lucy Porter

There's plenty more out there, none spring to mind at the moment though. Feel free to add to the list.

Michael McIntyre is a complete ****.

Lucy Porter may not be funny, but I'd love to **** her.
