Just got the below from my internet providers monthly news letter:

That "123456" password you might be tempted to use isn't going to fool anybody. But it's the most popular choice on the Web. Another of the most common is "Password". The astonishing findings come from a data security firm that looked at millions of passwords recently exposed in a security breach. The company analysed the data and compiled the results for a 'Consumer Password Worst Practices' report. Of the 32 million passwords involved, the four most common were: 123456, 12345, 123456789 and Password.

I'm always amazed at how many people use the same password. If you have access to an admin part of cetain sites you know the usernames and passwords and then can have a good go at hacking the same person on other sites. Not that I partake in such devilry, of course!

I have a spam email address that I use to register for sites and a 'spam' password... obviously my others are different.

 

I bet that when I am bored one day I will go through the saintsweb list and get into loads of accounts using the password 'saints'

please do. then you can get banned for hacking other peoples accounts, then you can go on b-anter and claim that you got banned on purpose because it was getting really sh*t anyway because all the good (racist) posters had been banned and that even when your ban expires you will never ever come back and if you do you will eat your own sh*t that is how confident you are about it
