Am I the only one who can't summon up any enthusiasm for this?

 

None of the teams have any identity, they're just a collection of players from all over the world who are there for the cash.

 

I support Saints and Hampshire because this is where I've always lived and I suppose I inherited it from my Dad. I've now passed that on to my lad.

 

The IPL is fine for the cricket-mad Indians. Just can't see any relevance to the UK.

I agree. Just a passing interest, a bit like Champions League. It does however give some of our players match practise against some of the best in the world. On the other hand Dimi is now sidelined with an achilles injury.
