Dog Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Anyone who hates broccoli hasn't tried mine. It only needs microwaving (steaming) for 30 seconds a bit like asparagus. Ketchup should be banned. I do not like butter. Punjani tea bags are the best. E Harriot is a ****.

Smirking_Saint Posted 5 March, 2010 Author Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Feck orf. That stuff should be banned. I agree it ruins most of not all well prepared dinners, but if feeling lazy and going for the old chips and chicken nuggets routine it works wonders. My fav sauce of choice has to be a nice Diane i think, wonderful.
St Landrew Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Ketchup Ever tried Lidl ketchup..? I think they do two kinds, one that is cheap, and the other that they pay you to take away. The really cheap one tastes like ordinary ketchup. The more expensive one is superb. Better then any easily purchased tomato ketchup around, and quite a lot better than most organic ones, I've tried. Which is a shame really, because I usually can't be bothered with ketchups. BTW, is that casserole still in the oven..?

RedAndWhite91 Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Good stuff, using leftover roast chicken from your Sunday dinner in a curry is lush. That's my top tip for the day
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 March, 2010 Author Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Surely it would go dry ?? I prefer slow cooking using chicken on the bone, that way it all breaks up and mixes in with everything.

dubai_phil Posted 5 March, 2010 Share Posted 5 March, 2010 Should we now have our own forum master chef competition? All we need are two grumpy blokes as Judges, now where the heck would we find them? Perhaps we should have more of a Daily Cooks Challenge. We could set the guys a 5 minute challenge or a Beat the Budget. Meanwhile on the Ketchup debate, Kimball Ketchup. The kids take bucket loads of it back when they come here, tastes like proper ketchup, but for me, once you've had Maggi Chilli Sauce you can NEVER go back
