Tranmere Build-up

Got a feeling we might just steal this 2-1...Hopefully we've learnt how to play the long ball match this week in training.

We played 'long ball' at WW!!!!! Precisely what we shouldn't do! Pass it - get it wide to the good turf and out our great wide players. Control the game - play sophisticated tactics and utilise our superior players........

If you have APs mobile number would suggest you send him a quick text with that. Totally agree and hopefully AP has come to recognise this as well.

Think it'll be a tricky game, I'll be happy with a 1-0 win with a goal off anyones arse, even the refs.

Brizzle are currently two up against Swindon - I think I'll be happy with that if we win, or a draw there. Other than that, there's no obvious hard games for the other top sides, so we could do with the odd upset.

Just planning the trip now. Liverpool and Manx-based Saints fans will be in attendance.

I have a lot of respect for the Tranmere fans. They could just have easily supported Liverpool or Everton. Indeed, most of the 'plassies' I've met do just that.

Takes a special kind of "over-the-water" maniac to say, "y'know what? B*ll*cks to Liverpool and Everton. I'm supporting Tranmere instead"

3-1 to Saints, by the way.

Whilst walking out of the ground after our 4-3 capitulation the Rovers supporters were pretty good to be fair, too busy celebrating or simply in as much a state of shock as we were at the result ;)

Remember the prize for winning that match was a plum tie versus Liverpool, and when a few Rovers fans said hard luck, I forgot where I was and said, no probs mate hope you stuff those scouse bartstewards next week

But yes respect to them for not taking the easy option.

I think Rovers winning is good for us - brings Swindon into the pack and we can catch Rovers because of our games in hand and the fact we go there!

I bloody well dont, it's gonna **** up one of my accys (the one with Saints in).

Anyone got ny radio links?

I have saints player but going out and can't get it to work on my iphone.

Tried icar radio but it doesn't work as radio solent is BBC and doesn't play live matches on the net.

there is hardly ever a radio link outside the area of the host club or outside the Solent area. You have to pay your money and listen to Saints Player, or Tranmere Player or whatever, it's pretty universal now.Tranmere would probably Radio Merseyside or something like that.

Great, the FA cup is going to be won by a bunch of corrupt tw*ts followed by a bunch of inbred tw*ts, that should have been put out of its misery weeks ago.

Splendid advert for the game...

Most frustrating thing? "Portsmouths fantastic fans deserve this..."

Amazingly, Saintsplayer "exclusive Saints content".

Been listening to our exclusive coverage for 20 odd minutes and have yet to hear the word Southampton or Saints let alone hear what the team line up or any pre match build up.

Edit ... Alan Pardew interview .... oh .... talking about black managers

Are we really playing today and kicking off in 5 mins or am I missing out on something?

Same team as midweek.

If we win today, and Gillingham beat Huddersfield we will be 11 points behind them, two games in hand and still have to play them. That would leave us just 2 points off the play off places. We really could do this. COYR
