Weston Super Saint Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Make sure you have a 29th birthday party.
Weston Super Saint Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Genius! Thanks Visit the Pyramids by the way.
Johnny Shearer Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 My suggestions would only be suitable in TMS.
toofarnorth Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Ignore anything like visit here and there. Thats what gap years and retirement are for. Concentrate on things that your physical condition allows now but will be increasingly difficult as you get older. Run a Marathon etc.

Roll on the 11th. I refuse to make a list of things to do before I turn thirty, because I'm never turning 30. I will be 29 forever.
saint_stevo Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Monkey Face and Strawberry Cheesecake?
Arizona Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Make sure you have a 29th birthday party. Why not make things a bit more challenging and go for 31st a birthday party. Anyway, snowmobiling.
Robsk II Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Do loads of drugs. LOADS. Also, w*nk a lot, and spend all your time on the internet.

Ponty Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Stop panicking for one. Your 30s will be better than your 20s anyway.
StuRomseySaint Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Good thread, if I had paid my fiver then I would have started this exact thread. I am 29 tommorow and suffering the same fait. I am not bothered about being 30 next year, infact I am looking forward to it. Although there are a few things which I want to do before I am 30. - Go on one last 18-30's holiday. - Go to some Drum and Base rave and get messy. - Get stoned / pilled up just once.
Jillyanne Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Stop panicking for one. Your 30s will be better than your 20s anyway. Exactly, I am 33 on the 8th and can confirm that I am enjoying my 30's a hell of a lot more than my 20's.

Iowsaintsfan Posted 22 September, 2008 Author Posted 22 September, 2008 Stop panicking for one. Your 30s will be better than your 20s anyway. Oh im not panicking but like someone said earlier, it would be nice to do the sort of things that you might not be able to do in later life like running a marathon. Thanks for all the suggestions so far
Colinjb Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 If it's something you won't be able to do later in life, yeah, a marathon? Make a concerted effort to try and play football for a team?
StuRomseySaint Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 If it's something you won't be able to do later in life, yeah, a marathon? Make a concerted effort to try and play football for a team? That is my main one. I am going to spend the next year trying to get myself back into shape so I can have a couple of years playing footy. I am not sure how long the back will last though, even if it's just pub footy level then I do want to have a go though.
Jillyanne Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Thanks Visit the Pyramids by the way. Its rubbish - http://www.leisurecentre.com/centres/42/home/Pyramids-Leisure-Centre.aspx

I thought you could go on these well into your 30's?!??!?!
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Sleep with a prostitute. Go to Amsterdam and get stoned. Appear on TV. Create a song and try to get it officially released. Blow £1,000 on a bet.
Scudamore Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Sleep with a prostitute. Go to Amsterdam and get stoned. Appear on TV. Create a song and try to get it officially released. Blow £1,000 on a bet. I'm 29...i have no desire to do any of those things.
Dicko Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Sleep with a prostitute. Go to Amsterdam and get stoned. Appear on TV. Create a song and try to get it officially released. Blow £1,000 on a bet. As opposed to simply ****ging one? Sleeping with a prostitute takes some balls
Colinjb Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 As opposed to simply ****ging one? Sleeping with a prostitute takes some balls And another part of human anatomy too I presume.
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 I'm 29...i have no desire to do any of those things. It was purely suggestions. For the record i am 25 nearing 26 and have done 3 of the 5 things As opposed to simply ****ging one? Sleeping with a prostitute takes some balls Sorry, yeah sh*gging one I meant. When you say sleeping with one takes balls, you mean closing eyes or sh*gging?!

dubai_phil Posted 22 September, 2008 Posted 22 September, 2008 Russian chicks (real ones, not take-aways)
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 23 September, 2008 Posted 23 September, 2008 F*ck one of your mates mums All well and good when your say 16 and your mates Mums are 30 something MILF's, however unless you have Glitter tendancies, I'm sure most of your mates Mums are likely to be hovering around the 50 mark. A GILF is a lot harder to find than a MILF.
Michelle Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Spin you car 360 degrees on a motorway. I passed that one with flying colours yesterday.
Ponty Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Spin you car 360 degrees on a motorway. I passed that one with flying colours yesterday. Go on then, I'm intrigued. How the hell do you lose control going in what's essentially a straight line?
Colinjb Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Go on then, I'm intrigued. How the hell do you lose control going in what's essentially a straight line? Tyre blowout? Standing water? Citroen?
Ponty Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Tyre blowout? Standing water? Citroen? She drives a Nissan or a Fiesta. The rest? I'd have mentioned that in the original post I think. Let's hope we find out.
Michelle Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 4 year old Fiesta. Went to overtake from middle lane and completely failed to see a car in my blind spot (they sure as hell call it that for a reason, as was proved to me yesterday) until I'd started pulling out, and I was right alongside it in the outside lane. Panicked, steered away a bit too quickly and for some stupid reason (well, seems stupid now, but at the time I thought I was gonna hit the car I was going to overtake) hit the brakes. At one point I was looking at the central reservation while my car was travelling sideways across the two lanes. Eventually ground to a halt straddled across the outside lane and central reservation - though I was pointing the right way, which I was quite stunned at! Even more impressively, and I'm still at a loss as to how it wasn't much worse - I didn't hit anything, and nobody hit me. Ended up with all three lanes stopped whilst I got over to the hard shoulder - funnily enough I didn't drive the next leg of the journey, though I did drive a bit again last night on the way back from that poor excuse for a football match.
Michelle Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Drink too much, take too much acid and walk the wrong way home on your 30th birthday. Something you want to share with us Andy?

The lesson, ALWAYS check over your shoulder before overtaking on a motorway. You lucky bugger!#-o
Michelle Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 Easily done:rolleyes: Missing a car in your blind spot, or the 360?
Michelle Posted 24 September, 2008 Posted 24 September, 2008 The lesson, ALWAYS check over your shoulder before overtaking on a motorway. You lucky bugger!#-o Don't I bloody know it - on both counts! I was completely over compensating on the way back last night - knew for a fact there was no-one behind me, no headlights in sight, yet I still checked. The shock of the whole thing didn't really set in until this morning, worst thing now is that I keep getting flashbacks which send me all cold and shivery, makes me realise just how incredibly lucky I was.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 28 September, 2008 Author Posted 28 September, 2008 Thanks for your suggestions guys
