We won't need the playoffs next season. Going up automatic.

Good.Should we need the play offs in 2011 I would far rather go to Cardiff than the cesspool of London.

This is just one day (28/05/11) They will probably move the play-off match.

Can't see the FA missing out on an extra booking.

Wouldnt mind this as to be honest seeing as the stadium is a half hour walk from me and besides will have already been to Wembley so no need to see it again

Hmmm, don't understand this one, since when did they start arranging Champions League finals on a Saturday? Why don't they just move that to the Wednesday before and have the play offs as normal?

It isn't, but the playoffs would affect the build up and possibly damage the pitch (I presume UEFA take ownership for the whole week leading up to the game). The playoffs are generally in the 3 day long spring bank holiday weekend but recently one of the three has been played the previous weekend.

99.9% sure that as of this season the Champion's League final is now at the weekend, I think Saturday night.

Nonsense though, isn't it? What else is on the telly on a Wednesday night? On a Saturday at the end of May most people will be out on the lash and watching a boring United v Chelsea game is the last thing on their minds. Come on Barca.

I doubt the FA would want to miss out, they need all the money they can get out of Wembley. I thought that's why they made sure the FA Cup semis are played there. It'll take a while to get a return on 750 million.

I was going to say, move the Champions League Final to Cardiff, but on second thoughts, I like the Millenium Stadium.

i wouldnt mind a championship play off final at Cardiff! Anyone know who if anyone has one the league 1 and then the championship playoffs in consecutive years?
