70's Mike Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 only getting 844 tickets, postal applications only.
Toadhall Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Christ hens teeth then. Would be good to just turn up - I wonder how easy difficult it is to get home tickets?
Saint_clark Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Glad they moved it as I would have wanted to go otherwise.
Toadhall Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Just been on their site - previous purchasing history required. Booo!
Matthew Le God Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Not going to bother when the view from the away end is like this... None of the 844 Saints fans will have a clue what is happening!
Saint_clark Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 F*cking hell, they've moved the pitch further away since I last went.
fish fingers Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 I went last time, couldn't see a thing down the other end of the pitch. I shall be going again.

Saint_Jonny Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Fook that. Better off not going! glad they are moving to a proper stadium.

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Is it on the box? I really can't be arsed with that!!!
JRM Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Remember this will be the first game since our Wembley triumph so should be a good one. Easter weekend as well, so even though it is a thursday its not too bad
JRM Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 check out the picture of the west stand on here http://www.footballgroundguide.com/brighton_and_hove_albion/ i am sure last time i went there we were in the East stand

andysstuff Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Probably going to end up in one of the home stands - got a couple of mates with season tickets over there so are on the database. Anyone else doing similar?, may be worth trying to at least get in the same block.
La BoIS Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Unless I take half a day off I'm not sure I can be arsed. Behind the goal last time on temporary seating, miles from the action.
Tractor_Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Blimey - is there OS link? Are ST holders first in the queue on postal applications ? Are you sure it isn't an April Fools? 844???
La BoIS Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Is on os and appears they are allocating to STH in strict order of number of away games attended.

It's midweek and you need to write a letter which will put loads off. I've already wrote my letter can't wait for this one need some revenge after they beat us and released a DVD.

richardc Posted 4 March, 2010 Posted 4 March, 2010 got my ticket already mate of mine is BHA season ticket holder and cant make the game - so I will have to control myslef in the BHA end and only a 5 min drive perfect
The9 Posted 4 March, 2010 Posted 4 March, 2010 Michelle said: "written". HTH. (Thought I'd get there before Scott did!) Dammit ! I won't be writing one anyway, been there, done that, best place to watch a match is behind the home end when stood on the road, other than the police constantly trying to move you on. It's a better view than the away stand anyway. PS It's not exactly midweek, it's the night before Good Friday, so the start of a Bank Holiday weekend. And any civil servants will probably have the afternoon off for Maundy Thursday as well. I know I used to
Tractor_Saint Posted 4 March, 2010 Posted 4 March, 2010 NorthamSteve said: That's a good point.... *writes letter.... Um, anyone got a template of the letter writing? Is it a case of "Dear Father Christmas, I'd like to be considered for two tickets against my ST ticket numbers xxx and xxx for the Brighton away game, love and kisses, Tractor Saint" ? And post to the SFC Ticket office? Any specific addressee / address?

OK - have written a letter and will post this PM but not a great article on the OS - no details on who to make the cheque payable to (assuming it's "Southampton FC") and no address for postal applications given in the article (a bit of a basic miss but assume it's just 'Ticket Office' at the St Mary's address!)

That usually works but it won't in this case. You need to make a cheque out for £300. I will PM you details of the payee and address you need to send it to.

The un-savoury habit of dunking biscuits’ is strictly prohibited and will result in you being ask to leave the tea rooms. There is a correct way to hold your cup and saucer. Pick up your cup and saucer together-holding the saucer in one hand and the cup in the other. The best way to hold a tea cup is to slip your index finger through the handle, up to almost the first knuckle, then balance and secure the cup by placing your thumb on the top of the handle and allowing the bottom of the handle to rest on your middle finger. Hold the cup lightly, by the handle- your pinkie doesn’t have to be extended. Hold the saucer under your cup while you sip your tea (least you should spill or dribble). When stirring your tea, kindly refrain from clinking the sides of your cup. Gently swish the liquid back and forth being careful not to touch the sides of your cup if possible. Never leave your spoon in the cup and be sure not to sip your tea from the spoon either. After stirring, place your spoon quietly on the saucer, behind the cup, on the right hand side under the handle. Please ensure you introduce a little milk or cold water to your cup before pouring your tea to prevent cracking of the china. We have kindly provided sugar tongs on each table for your use. For hygiene reasons please do not touch the sugar cubes in the bowl."

MK Saint Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 Does anyone know how/when people will be told if their application has been successful?
markr27 Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 When I asked about the Exeter tickets, I was told it was impossible for the club to let you know if you'd been successful or not. Therefore, it is probably best to just keep your eye on your online account, or wait for the postman to arrive with tickets.
