del boy Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/mifsud_gossip_continues_501866/index.shtml "Former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud, who is still without a club since his contract with the Sky Blues ended last sumer, has had a trial with Southampton. Last month he had a trial with near neighbours and fierce rivals Portsmouth, but it has recently emerged that Mifsud had a trial with The Saints before having his trial with Pompey. It is not known if either club will offer him a contract. As Mifsud is without a club and is therefore a free agent, he is free to join any club at any time outside the transfer periods"
Saint_clark Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 Obviously didn't impress. We have better now anyway.
Smirking_Saint Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 We had a thread on him ages ago, before jan about him coming for a trial. Guess it didn't go so well, do we need him ?? No i think not.
SNSUN Posted 3 March, 2010 Posted 3 March, 2010 This is old news. We needed a striker to replace long term absentee Connolly, we got Barnard and also Waigo hit form.
