Pilchards Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday.
John B Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. I am sorry to hear that and I hope they are resolved soon but pleased that the issues are not football related
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. I am always having issues in my family life - they call it teenagers I believe!

Smerlinare Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. When/how did you find this out? Pleased it's not any football fall out! Good luck AP
alpine_saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. In that case he has my every sympathy, my best wishes for a speedy solution and my full support for Tuesday night. So long as it is not him knobbing a pole-dancer, or something..
saints_is_the_south Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Hope it's not his mrs moaning at him for driving to & from Southampton every day & working too far from home!!
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 If true, sympathies to AP. Must say I'm a little relieved at that.
Thedelldays Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 To be honest Thank god for that in one way and hope what ever it is gets sorted soon
opthomps Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Makes that other thread seem like a total farce then. Glad we have found out and wish him well, hope its nothing serious. Whatever it is I hope it doesn't impair us getting the result we need tomorrow
david in sweden Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I am always having issues in my family life - they call it teenagers I believe! Tell me about it Duncan, as a consolation, here's a personal reflection from many years ago. As a very young parent, I asked an older colleague what it was like when the children were teenage. After a few moments thought he replied, " well, upto about 14-15, it's a bit difficult ...after that ...it's impossible " Our eldest two have moved from home now and we only have our 18 year old left ...and thats a totally another story ! Good luck Duncan ..and AP.
iansums Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 An old boy with two 'grown up' children who worked for me once said to me: "It doesn't matter how old they are you never stop being a parent". Whatever AP's problems are I hope he resolves them soon. The speculation on here over the weekend worried the hell out of me.
Legod Third Coming Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 In that case he has my every sympathy, my best wishes for a speedy solution and my full support for Tuesday night. So long as it is not him knobbing a pole-dancer, or something.. I think that's the other team in Hampshire...
Trumush Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 If he had to get out PDQ on Saturday maybe he should have let Graham Wilkins take the post match interveiws. Delegate.
Paul Chuckle Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 If he had to get out PDQ on Saturday maybe he should have let Graham Wilkins take the post match interveiws. Delegate. is Grahm Wilkins, Ray and Deans other brother lol
eurosaint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I think that's the other team in Hampshire...[/QUOTE] "There IS only ONE team in Hampshire" ! HTH
Pancake Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 So the rumour of John Terry seen at his house might be true then?
SaintDonkey Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I think that's the other team in Hampshire... Has Ian Baird been a naughty boy then?
Toomer Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I am always having issues in my family life - they call it teenagers I believe! Mines a daughter getting married this year, please PM card details for donations to the wedding fund.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I'd just like to add that not all teenagers are nightmares... Hope AP resolves his issues, glad it is not football related. Phew!

OldNick Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 One of my friends who works at the club was outside the ground as AP came out and he was signing autographs etc. I think it is a non story.
Trumush Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 is Grahm Wilkins, Ray and Deans other brother lol Thankyou for that polite correction. Dean Wilkins it is. Why couldn't he have taken the post match interveiws. Can't to too difficult after a 5-1
DT Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 One of my friends who works at the club was outside the ground as AP came out and he was signing autographs etc. I think it is a non story. Is it impossible to sign autographs when you have family issues now? How odd.
Legod Third Coming Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I'd just like to add that not all teenagers are nightmares... Hope AP resolves his issues, glad it is not football related. Phew! I've heard some complete cobblers over the years on this site, sir, but you take the absolute biscuit!!!
krissyboy31 Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Thankyou for that polite correction. Dean Wilkins it is. Why couldn't he have taken the post match interveiws. Can't to too difficult after a 5-1 That might have started a load of tittle-tattling!!! Oh...........
stardustonmyfeet Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 One of my friends who works at the club was outside the ground as AP came out and he was signing autographs etc. I think it is a non story. But was he furiously signing autographs with a face like thunder? That's the important thing.
dune Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Let's hope AP has a bag on more often if it makes us win 5-1.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. Key thing there is to ensure we make a big noise for the Gaffer on Tuesday then. The team will respond to that also.
alpine_saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. We should all move on now and making sure we give AP a great cheer Tuesday. How do you know this, btw ?
fish fingers Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 How do you know this, btw ? He's the other man.
Ken Tone Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Am i right in thinking the trouble making orinated from that scummy little local rag? Unless you are referring to whatever the family trouble is (about which I know nothing), then no. This whole non-story was whipped up by Radio Solent. I got back to the car radio just in time to hear the last sentence or so of the radio interview, then was gobmsacked and worried to hear the radio bods wittering on about how abrupt and miserable Pardew had been. When they re-played the interview just before 6pm, I wondered what all the fuss was about. Added to that was someone saying they'd seen Pardew leaving the ground at about 5.12 with a face like thunder. Big deal! Interviewer made some daft comment like "and we even had the fans chanting the manager's name" as if this was something extraordinary, which would have ****ed me off too if I'd been Pardew. And *if* he did leave with a face like thunder, I imagine he has a well-practised, "don't approach me" face whenever he tries to make his way through a departing football crowd. K.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 +3 - 11 (going on 16) 13 and 15...girls!! Jesus, you fell out of the unlucky tree and hit all the branches on the way down, didn't you?
Saint Luke Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 My Charlton supporting colleague tells me that AP left Charlton because he was doing a John Terry!! Make of the what you will. I don't know if it's true or not.
Prince Jazzbo Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Surely we can allow him to be in a bad mood every once in a while.

greg_hill Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 My Charlton supporting colleague tells me that AP left Charlton because he was doing a John Terry!! Make of the what you will. I don't know if it's true or not. I'll make it as total and utter BS that really you should not have even bothered posting and I wonder why you did so. I hope it's not repeated.
hutch Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Let's hope you haven't got any Saints supporting colleagues who are tempted to do a John Terry then.
exeter_saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 more likely he left charlton due to the popular feeling that he effectively relegated them form the CCC?
suewhistle Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 I am always having issues in my family life - they call it teenagers I believe! Bloomin 'eck Duncan, already?? You must be getting on a bit then. Oh. So am I. It's just that I'm sure you had little kids only a couple of seasons ago.. :-) Now I know I'm losing it.
SFKA South Woodford Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 He is having some issues in his family life. That's what comes of living too near to the Chelsea training ground!
Channon's Sideburns Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 That's what comes of living too near to the Chelsea training ground! Ah, that will explain why he had a 'Cobham' then. ;-) Coat. Will my Get.
