harvey Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 For the first time today, I noticed how isolated the away support was. They were able to make as much noise as they wanted without any close reaction from any home support whatsoever. The Itchen North should have been kept open for this reason alone, poor show from the club as far as I'm concerned.
Ludwig Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 I thought you started a thread about the Joy Division song. That would've been more original.

Saintandy666 Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 Why the such agressive response? I reckon he has a point, I would like to see the fans closer together, creates a better atmosphere.
saintkiptanui Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 Kip, have you been drinking again??? if you can't handle the booze sweetheart you should really stop  Ain't touched a drop, as I explained before I want to be banned, i've already requested to be banned but no joy as yet so I am taking it into my own hands you dirty sl*g.

Saintandy666 Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 Don't ban him, let him suffer If you want to get banned, there are better ways to do it than this I imagine. Edit: Well there we are... banned. Maybe this thread should be locked so it can be started again?

The Itchen North should have been kept open for this reason alone, poor show from the club as far as I'm concerned. ive always thought that the Itchen North should've stayed open, purely from an atmosphere point of view, but i must say that it was good to hear the "we're the Northam, we're the Itchen" song again today...(and yes, i know i'll probably get slated for that, but i happen to like it!) so there! mayeb they'll have a re-think and re-open I.N. and close more of the Kingsland or Chapel stand to compensate

lordswoodsaints Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 having the fans close together costs money, something we havnt got.
saint boggy Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 having the fans close together costs money, something we havnt got. how so?? am not deriding you, just curious as to how you came to that conclusion
Saints1980 Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 how so?? am not deriding you, just curious as to how you came to that conclusion Extra policing.
lordswoodsaints Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 how so?? am not deriding you, just curious as to how you came to that conclusion extra policing and extra stewards.
Matt SFC Posted 20 September, 2008 Posted 20 September, 2008 Rupert I tried please believe me, I'm doing the best that I can. I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through, I'm ashamed of the person I am.
saint boggy Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 extra policing and extra stewards. with extra policing you may have a point, but as for the stewards, they would simply be drafted in from other areas..the club would not have to employ more stewards as they have adequate numbers already. there were no stewards redundancies over the closed season because of cost-cutting,merely the normal natural wastage.
surrey1saint Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Be better off closing the Chapel IMO
saint boggy Posted 21 September, 2008 Posted 21 September, 2008 Be better off closing the Chapel IMO oi!!! that's where i am each n every matchday!! :smt075
