pap Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 By all means come back and say told you so at end of season, but reality is no play-offs this season. By all means come back and say told you so tomorrow night. Til then, there is hope. Cue sword-waving and never-say-die primal screams!!* * Til tomorrow night
corsacar saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Lets hope if Trotman plays he has a mare like he did a few time here. I reckon there will be a minimum of 4 goals, hopefully we get at least 3 of them.
up and away Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 By all means come back and say told you so tomorrow night. Til then, there is hope. Cue sword-waving and never-say-die primal screams!!* * Til tomorrow night There's always hope, but you must have been looking under every pile of horse sheite for a pony with that optimism. It would be very interesting if we did have a very good chance going into Wembley. Would Pardew then prioritise and ensured the play off's were a must. Easy to say do both, then one injury and a booking and you are drawing air from unexpected places!
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 1 March, 2010 Posted 1 March, 2010 Good one to win as it's a toughie. And if you think the play offs are still possible a 6 pointer for sure. I think we'll do it. COYR.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Right, I have absolutely no money. Can anyone give me a lift from London to Southampton and back?!
saintsmike25 Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 I'm really praying we can win this.. But i had a dream we won this 3-2 and guess who popped up in the 86th minute to lash home the winner from 18 yards? Morgan Schneiderlin, with his first and most important goal of the season. COYR!
Window Cleaner Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 I see on APs build up interview that this match is "more or less quite important" sounds like something out of Jane Austen
SO16_Saint Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 For those who need a radio link (not sure if Radio Solent on-line will be playing it) - and for those who have an iphone/ipod touch - i found an app yesterday called iCarRadio lite and it allows you to listen live (30 second delay) to any radio station.
NickG Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 no new injuries and Seaborne returns to squad - solent
Toomer Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Lets just carry on from Saturday we could have had a few more against the Poles lets hope we have saved them for tonight.
Andyb1 Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Right' date=' I have absolutely no money. Can anyone give me a lift from London to Southampton and back?![/quote'] I'll be leaving about 4:30 from Finsbury Park and don't mind driving you there and back if you dont mind going from Finsbury park and back there. PM if you want a lift
Alanh Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 There's always hope, but you must have been looking under every pile of horse sheite for a pony with that optimism. It would be very interesting if we did have a very good chance going into Wembley. Would Pardew then prioritise and ensured the play off's were a must. Easy to say do both, then one injury and a booking and you are drawing air from unexpected places! Not sure there is much to prioritise to be honest. We've got the JPT final, but then every other game this season is a league match. I think Pardew has gone into every game this season looking to win it and I can't see that changing over the course of 15 league and 1 cup game.
scotty Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 I can't remember how many times I've read that this season. I think I even posted it myself once, during a bout of post match depression. you ought to be used to those by now;)
dubai_phil Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Looks like The prediction League favours a 2-1 to Saints tonight. Will we kick on? Will I stay up late enough to listen again?
DT Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 I see on APs build up interview that this match is "more or less quite important" sounds like something out of Jane Austen No, that's Mansfield (Park), now of the Conference.
SaintRichmond Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Great win v Walsall 5-1 So ........ AP to make just 5 changes tonight then ???
Under Weststand Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Its going to be a tough game tonight, I don't think they will come to stifle the game which will be a good thing. Should be an open exiting game with a 2-1 win for the Saints.
Window Cleaner Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Can't honestly believe that AP hasn't looked at the League table these last 6 weeks though.Says we need to win 3 of the next 4 and about 3/4 of our remaining games. Obviously not very hopeful on the play-off front then. I'm sure NC will soon jump on him and tell him we need to win 90% of our remaning games though and all 4 of the next 4.
doubleonothing Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Really need a win tonight!!!!! My Mrs' Dad and Brother are Huddersfield fans and I've had nothing but greif since the away game so need to reverse that!! (Though if we win she might try and convince me that going to visit them in Yorkshire is a good idea. It's not)
nickfinks Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 i actually think we will romp this tonight 3-1 to the Saints but will go behind first.. COYR
Thedelldays Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 3-1 to saints...giving this lot a good thrashing would set us up nicely
dubai_phil Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 5-0 I gotta get some of your stuff Dude Seems to be working a treat!
sfcjmcsfc16 Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Ticket office not picking up! Need to buy my ticket! Useless 24mins so far!
View From The Top Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Just leaving work and as I live 180 miles away I'll not be going I'm hopeful of an unchanged team and a good win to keep the momentum going.
Um Bongo Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 I can't really be bothered to go. I'll take a 0-0.
Hamilton Saint Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 (edited) Line up: same team as Saturday. Oxlade-Chamberlain on the bench. Edited 2 March, 2010 by Hamilton Saint

Smirking_Saint Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Too much work to do, can't be arsed to go either. Wembley tickets and travel cost me about £80 today but then i am at THE game this season. We need a win tonight, 2-0 both Barnard.
dune Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 AP on the radio complaining about negativity. Reckon he's read some of Alps posts.
CanadaSaint Posted 2 March, 2010 Posted 2 March, 2010 Hopefully someone's popping vallium into NC's coffee because this game is much, much bigger than Wycombe.
