Quite frankly I cannot forgive Pardew for allowing the team to concede such an early goal. Yet again we have showed mental weakness and this cannot continue.

 

The only saving grace is we seem to have stopped conceding late goals ;-)

And replaced them with early goals conceded.

 

Can I remind posters to make their thread titles reflect the subject matter.

 

I'm like to see an explanation of how 3 does that. ;)

Reference to the fact that we conceded in the 3rd minute today. I believe there may have been a similar, completely unrelated thread, about late goals that used this naming convention.

Quite frankly I cannot forgive him for allowing us to score 5 TBH - needs to be taken out and shot if you ask me.

 

As for you St Chalet - grow up - oh and while your at it no one gives a **** if YOU cannot forgive AP - perhaps you won't turn up at Wembley as your so outraged?

I thunk we shoyld ahve drpoed bac aftr letin tht frst gaol in and just defend the 0-1 scorelin. Absolut disaster going for the win, totally nieve, we colled hve let loads of gols in!!!!!!!!!

From where i was, looked a cracking free kick in fairness. Can't do much about that.

 

But, we dominated the game from start to finish, and think its well funny people can complain about our biggest league win (and probably our best performance at home) of the season!

Get a grip. Firstly, how is it even Pardew's fault that one of our players committed a foul, and how is it his fault that their player hit it spot on and scored what was a good free kick. Secondly, what does that even matter, we won 5-1 ffs.

Blow, what happens if we concede in the 34th minute against Huddersfield?

 

FFS, I would never forgive Pardew for conceding goals between the 30th and 35th minutes. Everyone knows you don't concede goals in that time!!!

I was going to post something similar, but as a mere registered user I cannot start threads and the other threrad about goals conceded seems to have been locked for some reason.

 

I think that I will probably forgive AP for the goal we conceded, because, as RedAndWhite91 points out, we did win 5-1. However, I really do think some serious questions need to be asked about WHY we conceded so early. Is it something ahout the players mentally that has led to this goal after 3 or 4 minutes? It cannot be fitness surely? I cannot believe that a professional footballer would be tired after such a short anmount of time, but not having played the game professionally I don't know the answer. I guess it must have been down to poor concentration. Why aren't the boys concentrating then? Maybe, taking information from ano0ther thread, maybe they were all distracted because AP had told them he had quit/been sacked? Whatever, there is no excuse and I would very much like to hear AP or the defensive coach explain what happened. It is simply not on.

Does anyone here still buy the Echo? If so, could you let me know if their lowlight is "Saints conceding a goal" and also let me know if my ugly mug's in there.

 

Lowlight for me was not scoring a 6th, very disappointing.

Unless we hit double figures tomorrow i am never setting foot in st marys again and i am getting rid of my wembley tickets.

if anyone should be gutted we let in the 3rd minute goal its me..

 

I had puncheon first goal and 5-0 also had llalana last goal and 5-0... would have picked up over £900... but we conceded early.... so what. 2 clean sheets away from home before that, so letting in 1 in 3 games is not that bad, especially when you consider the attcking players we have..

 

So get over it ALL TEAMS CONCEDE GOALS!!!.. Or would you prefer boring 0-0's with no attacking flare.

Totally unacceptable that my bets were out the window by the 3rd minute. AP should be ashamed. Totally ruined my day, untill my 9-fold rolled in at 4.45pm 8)
