sfc6mufc3 Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 7 points from 9 (ok maybe not the way we thought we may have got them but approaching March and still unbeaten in 2010 (in league of course). Still a big ask for play offs but who knows???
CWD Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Morgan still hasnt scored. pathetic performance.
Johnny Shearer Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 About time Saints hammered someone this season. More of the same please!
Micky Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Gotta do much better than that - no clean sheet FFS.
StD Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Fantastic - sets up tuesday's game against Huddersfield nicely...
St Landrew Posted 27 February, 2010 Author Posted 27 February, 2010 Rubbish. jolly good. Must say I was disappointed that Saints couldn't keep a CLEAN SHEET.
ericofarabia Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Pardew out Lallana out Lee Barnard out Ladies t!ts out for the boys
Ex Ringwood Saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Very nice.....Settled team...8 faces pards has got in this season gelling....Just need those away draws to turn to wins and....."We'll walk this league!!"
Belgiansaint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 The drubbing we had all been waiting for. Took ages to comen but here it is. I love it.
CWD Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 but seriously sounds brilliant, cant wait for ppl who went to give us their views and ratings
St Landrew Posted 27 February, 2010 Author Posted 27 February, 2010 When you think of clean sheet, do you think of a bed sheet, rather than a sheet of paper..? For some stupid reason, I think of a bed sheet.
James Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Great win, Huddersfield is now vital. Playoffs are a big ask, but continue to play like that and who knows? we might just sneak it...stranger things have happened.
WealdSaint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Long time since we have hammered someone...............feels good.
ulstersaint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 7 pts from the last 3 games (inc' 2 away games) is very good; the big game is Tuesday and if we take 10 pts from 12 pts then the momentum builds for play-offs. Walsall commenator said he expects Saints to get to play-offs and we will win them if we get there.
SNSUN Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 It's like chatting up a woman in a club, getting a slap in the face for groping her jubblies, and ending up getting laid in the bogs. I said on the pre-match thread I had a dream about a big scoreline last night, and I wasn't wrong. Muchos looking forward to Tuesday night, I'll be there hoping we can carry this form on. Bring it ON! Well done to all the lads today, shame I'll be in bed for the highlights. (Stupid work again...)
VectisSaint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Late goals are killing us Great win. Still won't make the play-offs though.
CWD Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 in 14 HOME games we've conceded 14 and scored 30. GOAL MACHINE
Saint J 77 Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Great result. I hope for a repeat performance against Huddersfield. Pompey winning stopped it being a great weekend though.
Red Alert Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Woop, I still think playoffs are beyond us but it would be nice to end this season in some seriously good form and give the boys plenty of confidence to win the league next year.
adrian lord Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 looking forward to caning Leeds at SMS..
alpine_saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Great result, and got a couple of the first team off early. Big match next week, could go a long way to resolving the fate of the season.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Top Banana! Shows what we can do! Now lets do it more often!
JibMcdo Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 When you think of clean sheet, do you think of a bed sheet, rather than a sheet of paper..? For some stupid reason, I think of a bed sheet. Bed sheet ftw.
St Landrew Posted 27 February, 2010 Author Posted 27 February, 2010 but seriously sounds brilliant, cant wait for ppl who went to give us their views and ratings Tbh, I often find some people see a totally different match to me when I'm able to go. Given a good radio commentary and stats to back things up, it's surprising how accurate one's assessment can be.
suewhistle Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Pardew out Lallana out Lee Barnard out Ladies t!ts out for the boys Only if you slap your offer on the table.. Apperrittivoo time, so I'll read you all later.
Pancake Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 How long until Tim starts a thread with the title "3"
JibMcdo Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Just looked at the league table for the first time in bloody ages. If we can win our games in hand and beat Huddersfield (big if I know) then we are right back in it.
St Landrew Posted 27 February, 2010 Author Posted 27 February, 2010 Pardew interview. He actually sounds as though he's had some really bad news, despite today's excellent result.
Saint_Jonny Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 **** me what was wrong with pardew? Sounds like hes had some really bad news? hmmm
Smirking_Saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 well, i suppose what with Portsmouth going into admin yesterday, last night on the beer and tonight and also the 5-1 win today it doesn't seem to be a bad weekend. Now to work on the missus for anal

jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 puncheon is the key. With him and Lallana we have so much variation in our play. Teams will be scared of these two. AP's interview on solent just now was a shocker. Sounded very moody and sarcastic.
Smirking_Saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 I turned it off, why does it sound like bad news ?? What was said ?

St Landrew Posted 27 February, 2010 Author Posted 27 February, 2010  what did he say? One word answers. Very clipped. Totally monotone in response. Anyone would have thought he'd just heard that a close relative had died, or he'd lost his job. I sincerely hope nothing is actually wrong.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010  what did he say? Sounded uninterested and made the interviewer do all the work. He made it a very short interview. Said he wasnt interested in stats and didnt care that dave merrington said saints on their day were best team in league.

Smirking_Saint Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Gutted i missed it now, that wouldn't be good. Anyone have a link to the interview

hutch Posted 27 February, 2010 Posted 27 February, 2010 Pompey winning stopped it being a great weekend though. Not really. That's 3 points Burnley won't lose if they vote in favour of throwing the cheating bästards out of the league before the end of the season.
