Can anyone fix 3 red lights issue on Xbox...

Hi,

 

My younger brother has just phoned me to ask if I know how to fix the 3 red lights error on xbox's.

 

I have no experience with xboxs as im a ps3 man myself, but I said I would have a look for info.

 

so far, he gets it working by wrapping it in towels ans forcing it to overheat !!!! seems a bit strange that this should be a remedy, but he says it works.

 

ive just had a look on Google for answers and it seems there is a fix, but you have to take the thing apart and get a bit technical.

 

Is there anyone on here that has tried (with success) to fix the 3 red lights error and cant pass on info.

 

or, is there anyone willing to fix it for him / me, for the right price...

If they knew how to fix them, there wouldnt be this problem in the first place !!!!

you can buy RROD kits off of ebay for a fiver, they come with all the relevant parts and an A4 page of instructions on how to do it, my mate did it in front of me and now my xbox is working fine again!
