Saint_Jonny Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 (edited) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/8533791.stm I honestly couldnt give a **** how they do in football, because scottish football is such a ******* joke. If anything I like to see them win because they are nearly always the underdog in the games they play, and everyone likes to see the underdog win. If we do win the world cup (hahaha) i'm going to rub it in. Alot. (well I would if I knew any scottish peoples...) *I would like to add that I do not hate scottish people, they are lovely.* Edited 24 February, 2010 by Saint_Jonny
Wade Garrett Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Is that scott's as in Terry Scott? I quite liked Terry and June.
TopGun Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 How can a person hate the Scots without even knowing one?
Jillyanne Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 How can a person hate the Scots without even knowing one? I am married to one and he is alright tbf.
Crab Lungs Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Yeah, saw that this morning.... then I saw a load of anti-English/anti-Scottish crap all over YouTube and just tried to figure why you can 'hate' anyone just because of their nationality/small cultural differences/went to war with once. I think it's just a few opportunists making a bit of money out of saddo's who are well indoctrinated into the 'hate England' school of thought. Its says a helluva lot more about the people that buy the shirts than the people who produce them, assuming people will buy them because they GENUINELY hate us...
Saint_Jonny Posted 24 February, 2010 Author Posted 24 February, 2010 How can a person hate the Scots without even knowing one? Dont lie I never said I hated them...
bridge too far Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Dont lie I never said I hated them... That's true. He said he hated the Scotts - different kettle of fish.
revolution saint Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 I quite like the Scots and "Flower of Scotland". I imagine that would wind them up much more than "hating" them back though. The Scotts on the other hand are total ******s.
nathan Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 I'm really not bothered about them, and like the poster above says, this tends to wind them up more than saying you hate them. The only thing that winds me up is Scottish MPs being able to vote on English matters (the Eats Lothian debate or something??).
SuperMikey Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Although I was born, raised and educated in England, I do consider myself Scottish (heritage: 25% English, Irish, Swedish and Scottish), and i've got absolutely nothing against the English. Generally, the mongs who do have 'beef' with the English are the kind of lads and lasses you'd find wandering around council estates in Glasgow drinking Special Brew and beating up ethnic minorities on a Thursday evening. Think of 99.9% of the inhabitants of Portsmouth but change the accent, that's yer average English-hating-Scotsman.
saints triumph Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Having toured scotland several times on my motor bike, I have found the native scots to be very pro English once you leave the glasgow area. The scots are very patriotic, but I wouldn't say they hate the English. Until I had been to scotland I thought that all scots hated the English, like most do that live in England:smt070
Saint Stimp Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 If anyone gets offended by this t-shirt they take football too seriously.
Poshie72 Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 My other half is a Scot and he does not have any problem with us English. However when it comes to Sport, he will not support England (like most of Scotland). I think that is more down to jealousy. He cannot understand why I would have liked Scotland to qualify this summer, as he thinks when it comes to sport we should hate them as much as they hate us.
Jillyanne Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 My husband will be supporting all the teams that we play against even though I always support Jockland when they play - very odd.
Poshie72 Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 My husband will be supporting all the teams that we play against even though I always support Jockland when they play - very odd. My boyfriend is supporting Germany as he knows it is the one team that I do not want to see win the cup
Dog Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 My boyfriend is supporting Germany as he knows it is the one team that I do not want to see win the cup Let's just hope that England don't get to play them then Poshie72. For the sake of bf.
