...get your groundsman to water f**k out of the pitch, then invite the local group of bonehead rugby players to prance around on it the day before the match

Guaranteed at least 1 point !!!

You really have proved exactly what you are?

 Bit rich ain't it?

You're the only person in the world to whom the chant "where were you when you were good?" can be applied.

Does this crap make you feel better ?

Or does simply blaming Wotton for everything do that ?

We are a joke this season - if i spend **** loads on a car I expect it to look nice and drive well in all conditions.......

12 wins in 30 excuses ran out in November.......

On the 2nd half thread you quoted yourself...You're officially number one troll of the SaintsWeb Forum...

Does posting moan after moan after moan after moan

make you feel better?

It must do...

I think blaming the pitch is pretty fair. Both teams were unable to pass a ball any sense all night.

Get used to it. Other L1 teams cannot afford soopah-doopah stadia like us.

As I said earlier, if we cannot adapt to these conditions, we will never get promotion.

Just out of intrest, what do you suppose should happen?

As rare as it is, I have to say I agree with Alpine. We can't seem to raise our games on crappy pitches. We can't blame the pitch because teams like Norwich, Leeds, Colchester all seem to be able to get wins.

We should be able to adapt to poor pitches because we now have quality players that can play on any pitch and able to change style to according to pitch to get a good result.

We need Mawhinneys parting act to be a rule that says L1 pitches need to double-up as bowling greens...

FFS, get your head out of cloud cuckoo land. We're not going up this season and the football league certainly aren't going to help us out with ridiculous rule changes.

It's time you dropped this myopic pro-Saints ecstacy and brought yourself back down to reality. Not everything is as rosey as you would like to make out.

Tell me, how are the pitches and stadia we visit going to improve NEXT season ?

Teams have to grind out results to get promoted. We are a f**king joke in this department.

Really?!? So the traditional cup upset has never been based on a dog of a pitch, has it? If you have fast players who can dribble and pass, what's that got to do with their ability to play on a rugby pitch, which is basically only fit for long ball football aimed at a big unit in the box.

I'm happy that we didn't lose. It's a shame that we didn't take one of the few chances we had, but that's the sort of game we usually lose.

I dont know you from Adam, my friend, but your comment here just sums up a large section of our fan base, I'm afraid...

No it doesn't! it just highlights your constant gripes and total lack of any CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions - it's so easy to moan, gets you nowhere tho.

1) Games like tonight happen, shrug it off, learn from it, move on.

2) Playoffs are possible until the maths say otherwise,

3) Pardew has done a great job so far - more to come

4) Spending loads of money doesn't buy you an instant great team - it buys you a group of good players who over time you develop into a good team.

Lock this thread please, it's nothing more than a troll/ wind up attempt.

What the F*** is your problem? I hardly ever agree with Alpine but that was perfectly fair comment.

You ain't my friend. If you were, I'd tell you to cheer the f*ck up, and to stop being a miserable c*nt.

But you're not, so I won't. ;)

I am drawing attention to the fact that we are apparently "a fukcing joke" in that department as it is quite ridiculous.

By the way, what's the title of the next thread...?

How about "Benji talks B*ll*cks", since that is what you have clearly done here.

From a quick look at the League table there appear to be 4 teams with a better away record than us.

I presume when you talked about "grinding out results" you were talking about away matches, unless you want us to "grind out results" at home (sure you'd love it). If you think 5th is a "****ing joke" then I do wonder what you would do if you were a Gillingham fan.....

If we know the next game is away at a crappy ground on a sh1 tty pitch the solution has to be;

Train on the Veracity Ground in Merry Oak or Riverside Park.

I seem to remember my passing game on those pitches was not up to scratch....
