hamster Posted 24 February, 2010 Share Posted 24 February, 2010 Stop two-bit din-plugging my thread with this Grease waff. Ah yeah, but... Are we discussing films that people have never seen OR are we talking about that god-forsaken excuse for a film 'StarWars? If the latter, then I apologise but fwiw there was only 1 Star Wars film and Princess Leia helped me through many a teenage boy's troubled teenage nights alone in the dark, under the 100% Nylon 'continental quilt' no less. St Landrew Posted 24 February, 2010 Share Posted 24 February, 2010 Nah, I never fancied Princess Leia, at the time either. Never fancied Carrie Fisher, tbh. Thought Kate Bush was a bit special back then, But I shared that opinion with about half the male population in 1980's GB, so it was nothing out of the ordinary. St Landrew Posted 25 February, 2010 Share Posted 25 February, 2010 (edited) I did have an amazing english teacher though Hammy, she was early twenties...... i was 16......... so obviously nothing happened. She was fit though, Ms Holloway i think ?? And we had an amazingly fit French teacher who was, for one thing, French, and with a superb accent. And for another, she used to get a couple of big chalk dust marks on her sweater from writing the date, high up on the blackboard. That sort of thing is very provocative for 11-12 year old lads to handle. Sadly, she was only there for one term. I wonder why..?
