Help with web page closing

Hello can aynone tell me why when i try to close a web page by clicking the red X in the top right hand corner it takes about 5sec to close its really annoying.

I have done all the scans for viruses and spywear and its free from any.

I am running vista.Thanks

Hi thanks for your help.I'm using IE8,add ons ?? Google toolbar ?? is that what you mean by an add on,Iwill try it with out google toolbar and see if it does it then as it don't do it all the time.

This opens up IE without ActiveX controls and browser extensions.

 

another way press the Windows key + R key which opens Run command, type iexplore –extoff and this will open up IE8 without add-ons

Is that because if he was using a mac he would be too ****ing busy being smug to bother using a web browser?
