The9 Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 Website down and all the phone lines too busy Headline for the Echo "Saints surprised by ticket demand again" Hardly, it says on the initial information on the OS that they recommend people wait, as they're expecting high demand but ST holders have a week to order... People just want to moan about everything nowadays.
The9 Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 on the 0800 number if im listening to music only, does that mean im in or do i need it to be ringing? Music is good, as you'll probably know by now. Unless it ends with a click and silence
Barry the Badger Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 on the 0800 number if im listening to music only, does that mean im in or do i need it to be ringing? If you've got as far the music then you are in the queue, next you will get a lady keep telling you to make sure you have your payment card ready. I had that for about 25 mins before an answer, hang in there.
The9 Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 (edited) I'm having this problem too. I'm pretty sure I've not registered before but the system tells me the cust no is already registered. Just tried it with my mate's cust no too and I know for a fact that he has never registered as he's too feckin lazy to sort tickets out. Same result. Carozzi, LA77 and Toomer, this is for you too... It's an issue with the email address on your account being blank, so it "exists" when you try to log in, preventing you creating a new account, but is not there for you to be able to recover the password. Email the ticket office ( I think agrant@saintsfc.co.uk works) and they'll sort it by resetting your password. The current default password is "football", just for the record - that might work if you have customer number and use that, if not, email them - quite a few have had this problem, inc my g/f about a month ago. Not really, unfortunately I will have a few of them staying at the folks house the night before... my Dad made the ****tish decision to be born in Carlisle, and all his family made the even more ****ish decision to stay there. Barry the Badger Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 Online didn't work for me so after trying to get through on the phone constantly all morning and getting cut off I eventually got the magical hold music. I was on hold to the ticket office for 30mins on speakerphone. When they eventually answered instead of taking off speakerphone I accidentally hung up!!! I have never been so cross with myself, what a tw*t. After another hour trying, at last I just got through and didn't make the same mistake again. 132-135, can't wait. StuRomseySaint Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 Wow - just got charged the one x £3 charge for 7 tickets online ? Just £3 for 30 for me. Took me less than 5 minutes to book as well. It's not a scam... it's to discourage people from using the phones. In this day and age there is no excuse for not using the internet. Every person has had ample warnings about the sale, plenty of time to make sure their online account was set up... amd everyone who has been buying tickets today have qualified for an online account. If you want to be old fashioned and use the phone, be prepared to pay the prices.

CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 Two tickets booked over the interweb no trouble at all I'm happy to say . The last time I went to Wembley it was England v Holland in 1982 - we won the game if I recall correctly but the real highlight was some very tasty (Falklands related) Argie baiting from the crowd . Jackie@home Posted 22 February, 2010 Share Posted 22 February, 2010 Difficult choice. Got 4 £44 ones in the middle tier (238-232). Really wanted to sit nearer the halfway line, but might have ended up far too far down next to the pitch with a crap view - my husband will moan either way, if he doesn't get the best view in the stadium.
