Website down and all the phone lines too busy

Headline for the Echo

"Saints surprised by ticket demand again"

Hardly, it says on the initial information on the OS that they recommend people wait, as they're expecting high demand but ST holders have a week to order...

People just want to moan about everything nowadays.

on the 0800 number if im listening to music only, does that mean im in or do i need it to be ringing?

Music is good, as you'll probably know by now.

Unless it ends with a click and silence ;)

If you've got as far the music then you are in the queue, next you will get a lady keep telling you to make sure you have your payment card ready. I had that for about 25 mins before an answer, hang in there.

I'm having this problem too. I'm pretty sure I've not registered before but the system tells me the cust no is already registered. Just tried it with my mate's cust no too and I know for a fact that he has never registered as he's too feckin lazy to sort tickets out. Same result.

Carozzi, LA77 and Toomer, this is for you too...

It's an issue with the email address on your account being blank, so it "exists" when you try to log in, preventing you creating a new account, but is not there for you to be able to recover the password.

Email the ticket office ( I think agrant@saintsfc.co.uk works) and they'll sort it by resetting your password. The current default password is "football", just for the record - that might work if you have customer number and use that, if not, email them - quite a few have had this problem, inc my g/f about a month ago.

You'll have trouble reaching the opposing fans with it.

Not really, unfortunately I will have a few of them staying at the folks house the night before... my Dad made the ****tish decision to be born in Carlisle, and all his family made the even more ****ish decision to stay there.

Online didn't work for me so after trying to get through on the phone constantly all morning and getting cut off I eventually got the magical hold music.

I was on hold to the ticket office for 30mins on speakerphone. When they eventually answered instead of taking off speakerphone I accidentally hung up!!! I have never been so cross with myself, what a tw*t.

After another hour trying, at last I just got through and didn't make the same mistake again. 132-135, can't wait.

Wow - just got charged the one x £3 charge for 7 tickets online ?

Just £3 for 30 for me. Took me less than 5 minutes to book as well.

It's not a scam... it's to discourage people from using the phones. In this day and age there is no excuse for not using the internet. Every person has had ample warnings about the sale, plenty of time to make sure their online account was set up... amd everyone who has been buying tickets today have qualified for an online account.

If you want to be old fashioned and use the phone, be prepared to pay the prices.

Toomer mentioned that he got an out of office, in which case try ticketoffice@saintsfc.co.uk or the old staple dluker@saintsfc.co.uk

All they have to do is "reset" your password (i.e. give you a password) and ensure your email address is on the account.

I was told April has hundreds of emails in her account.

Use your customer number and "football" to reset your password as the man said

I think I've just managed to order 4 online, I got to my order statement but didn't get an email that I usually get when ordering online?

I've never had an email for cup tickets purchased this season, just print booking reference and save.

Is the system asking for all the relevant season ticket numbers or are the tickets just available without all that information?i know its supposed to be certain number per season ticket etc etc but if ppl buying in transactions of say 20, 30 tickets surely all these season ticket numbers are not being asked for?so if you have access to online sales and a season ticket its a free for all?!surely not...

You need to have the other season ticket numbers 'linked' on there. I have 14 other of my mates on my booking, so I selected them twice each to buy 30

As SRS states you need to link season ticket numbers. I've 5 linked so bought 10 tickets.

Two tickets booked over the interweb no trouble at all I'm happy to say . The last time I went to Wembley it was England v Holland in 1982 - we won the game if I recall correctly but the real highlight was some very tasty (Falklands related) Argie baiting from the crowd .

Anyone else know of non season ticket holders getting hold of tickets via the online service using their customer ref number.

I've just tried it, and it let me right through to the payment page - before saying I don't have permission to buy them yet. Bit confusing letting you through all the way, but yeah didn't work.

I know someone who is not a season ticket holder but reckons he has managed to get a couple of tickets using his customer number online. Anyone else know of this happening??

I think he's telling you porkies ;)

Just looked on the online site - can't see any for sale in the £58 bracket blocks 227-231. Have these sold out already???

Yep, all £58 and most £44 have already sold out.

You can have my £34 ticket for £58 if you like.

Difficult choice. Got 4 £44 ones in the middle tier (238-232). Really wanted to sit nearer the halfway line, but might have ended up far too far down next to the pitch with a crap view - my husband will moan either way, if he doesn't get the best view in the stadium.

Anybody got any experience of the views from different sections of Wembley?

Two more for Block 132-135, £34 tickets. Hopefully they are higher up because the first 10 rows really aren't great.

I've been to a few England games and the American football games and it's safe to say that there are no poor views at Wembley.
