Who remembers the Southend ''love in'' from a few seasons back when we got into the playoffs on the last day of the season. Wouldn't it be a strange coincedence if we again turned our form around (as we did that year after beating Wolves 6-0 away) and had to beat them again at home on the last day to gain a playoff spot. If I remember rightly a playoff seemed just as unreachable at this time that season as it does this one.

Weren't we near the relegation zone before christmas?! Maybe I am mixing up seasons...? I seem to remember Wolves away being a write off loss then we randomly won 6-0 and everything seemed rosey again

Oh yea, I remember that. Went 1-0 down I think but ended up scoring 4. Be good if that was the case again. As much as I want to see it I don't think we can but I'm sure we will have a good go at it.

Nope. At one point before christmas we got to second, but that only last a couple of days as I think Birmingham had a game in hand to be played on the tuesday after.

Didn't we have five shots, five on target and win six nil that day at Wolves. One of Saga's was superb, scored almost from the touchline just in front of us.

No, that's what the Wolves fans made out. In total we had over 11 shots.

I can even remember one Wolves fan saying that we "nicked a 6-0 win".
