total mess trying to get tickets and information at st marys, what a way to issue tickets

You can't get tickets at St Mary's until General sale, it's been well-known since the first day they provided ticket info, so I'm not sure why that would be "a mess".

If people don't want to read the information provided they can hardly complain if they don't know what's going on.

Anyone have a feeling for what the chances are of it going to general sale?

Pretty sure Phase 3 (or is it Phase 4?) "General sale" will be replaced by a new phase entitled "ST holders touting their unnecessarily purchased second ticket to JCLs and miscellaneous scabby hangers on".

To be honest I'd be surprised if the 25,000 ST holders take doesn't include a load of MK Dons semi-attenders already, so there should be a few left over. Also, we are notoriously lazy as a fan base.

Maybe General should actually be replaced by "write a letter", or a caption competition, or preferably an obstacle course in the Northam Car Park. Is that wall still there ?

I take it you're not a ST holder then? Every single ST holder I know and have spoken to has said they are using their second ticket for a family member or friend who goes regularly but doesn't own a ST themselves.

you had guys who came from the isle of wight and salisbury who went away fuming told they had to fill in bits of paper and come back, not bad for season ticket holders whose details are held by the club.

its not about the tickets but information and sending away people who traveled miles.

their were alot of angry people this morning.

What on earth are you on about?

Yeah I am, I'm loving the naive belief that everyone knows people who want to go but don't know anyone else who can get them a ticket.

Hardly the ticket office's fault though is it? What more do you expect them to do except put it on the official club website, which you might perhaps expect fans to read?

They should probably take ten seconds to read the information rather than, you know, embarking on a completely pointless journey based on a number of incorrect assumptions then...

not everyone has the internet or the echo and so you had loads of fans who travelled down today.

it would have made sense to issue forms for them to fill in at the ticket office for those who turned up.

I have minor sympathy for them but they should have checked properly.

the OS have confirmed ST holders can also get a 3rd ticket in the second block if you went to one of the MK Dons games. Or have they? Maybe i've just read it wrong.

Got mine easily in the end. Phoned the standard 0800 2800 050 number with no joy then phoned the other number and got in a queue straight away, only had to wait 5-10 minutes.

Got my first choice of blocks no problems.

Sales at 5pm currently stand at 9,500.

so by the end of today probably about 10,000, not bad almost a 1/4 of all tickets sold on day one. There will be plenty of season ticket holders who wont be too bothered what blocks they end up in and hold back from buying until phase 2 or 3 of sales so they can get tickets with other mates.

Personally I think they should have had the windows open for sales as well for those who dont use the internet

10,000 sold at 6pm according to OS. Amazed the ticket office managed to function at all at that rate to be fair ..though the phone system did cut me off after 20 mins of music earlier and it took another 30 mins just now.

All the top price seats gone apparently

I'm not disputing that isn't true, but I am surprised that the most expensive are sold out, guess that just must be blocks 227-231 which are middle tier centre, prime seats, but we also have middle tier 232-238 available at £44 which are also club wembley middle tier.

Its not clear what they are doing with the rest of the middle tier 239-245 which are right in the middle of "our" section

The £44 ones are the second top price, not the dearest. The £50-plus (£58?) ones are sold out according to the girl on the phone. Was virtually the first thing she said when I finally got through.

And I too wonder what is happening to 239-245. Hardly a segregation issue with them is there?

well if we get close to selling out and those blocks are left unsold surely Wembley will release them, would be crazy to have whole section of seats bang in the middle of the saints section left empty

Carlisle did it from day one, think we should have as well. Option of Internet (for those who dont want to queue), phone for those who want to queue sitting down, and personal sale at the ticket office for those who want to queue standing up

Hi, You seem as though you work in the ticket office from your posts today, do you know if this figure includes those of us that have handed in a postal application to the ticket office ?

lol, don't work there (though nearly did a few years back) - just have been quite involved in various things in the past.

Not sure to be honest, in previous times when there have been postal applications/pre-registration, when your order has been processed it'll show up on your online sales history.

My application for 32 went in this morning, nothing on my history as yet. Keep an eye on that or your credit/debit card account for the money to be debited!

Saying that, if 50% of bookings have come from telephone sales, and 29% from online sales, the other 21% can only be from postal, so seems like a chunk of them have gone through today.

That'll be because you're not entitled to one yet. HTH.
