krissyboy31 Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 From that CUFC plan the only unallocated area (apart from segregation and the Club Wembley seats) are 514 to 523 and they are not going to let us have them IMO.

Durleyfos Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Just booked my seats through club wembley - block 240 behind the saints goal - COYR!! Me too! Block 243. I'll wave!
Saint 76er Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Oh FFS' date=' stop whinging about the coach price... we are going to Wembley - [b']one of the few clubs that will have played in a final at the old Wembley, Cardiff and the New wembley![/b] 8 months ago we were desperate for the club to survive, fans were donating cash, we were told teh club needs to live within its means so, so do you really begrudge your club maybe £50k tops in a profit on the coaches? Come on we should enjoy it. Also, possibly the only club to have played finals (1900/1902) at the old Crystal Palace ground as well as the above three! If so, it will remain a unique record as Cardiff and CP now out of the equation. Back to the current day, I assume still no extra time and straight to pens if necessary? (not that we would need pens ) TV schedule seems to indicate so and no mention on FL website of any change for the final. This is important, you understand, as it affects after match drinking time...
northam soul Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Just to rub it in the plume are running a coach at £15 per person.I though shall be going up the night before.

Has FF got the full SP on these Chrystal Palace finals 1901/2.....I am sure he missed these finals through swine flu;)

Bucks Saint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 I may be wrong, but i'm quite sure last seasons final went to extra-time. Cracking extra time it was too
Mr saint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Right folks here's the deal. I'm not a ST holder, but I did go to the home leg of the area final as did a mate mine. I know my customer number, but he doesn't know his. If just phone up when they go on sale and give my customer number along with his name and postcode etc., I assume I'll be able to buy 2, won't I?

Saint_John Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 May of been mentioned above but; am i right in thinking that you cannot buy the tickets at the ticket office till general sale on Monday 15th? So If you are a season ticket holder wishing to purchase in the first window you need to do it over the phone or online?? They have UPDATED the Wembley Ticket Details Announcement http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1966914,00.html to say Please note that Wembley Ticket Sales will not be available from the SFC Ticket Office prior to General Sale.. so yes to your question, Phone or Online.
northam soul Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Oh great that phone line will be impossible, better get that other number up here again.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Booked mine through Club Wembley too Can't wait!
John Boy Saint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 What does surprise me is the £25 for coach travel though.....thats a bit steep and for a 50 seater comes to well over £1200 per coach !!!! If you want to park your own car on the approaches to Wembley that'll be £10 -£15 if you want to splash out and park in the Wembley car park kiss goodbye to £25. £25 for the coach to Wembley coach parking emission charges all in being able to have a drink relax, small price to pay for convenience what on we hope would be a grand day out. Not as if its every year.
pittdogg Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 how come no one seems to want to go by train, its about £15-£20 for a ticket form southampton to london(anywhere and use as much as you like on the day)if you by group tickets, and a very quick way to get around london?
Saint_clark Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 how come no one seems to want to go by train, its about £15-£20 for a ticket form southampton to london(anywhere and use as much as you like on the day)if you by group tickets, and a very quick way to get around london? Because there will be at least 20,000 other Saints fans going up the same way on a sunday service.
Chez Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Because there will be at least 20,000 other Saints fans going up the same way on a sunday service. kin nightmare. Are there any rails works/tube works?
Saint_clark Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 kin nightmare. Are there any rails works/tube works? Not sure - you'd think they'd have enough sense to look at ticket sales and think "we'd better run a normal service". I'm not holding my breath though.
S-Clarke Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 kin nightmare. Are there any rails works/tube works? bakerloo line is closed on the tube for works - and there are works at clapham junction, so there will be diverts/bus connections etc - well thought out as usual.
musesaint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 If you are a season ticket holder and also went to the JPT Final Home leg can you :- 1 Get two tickets in the first window for your ST and 2 Another ticket in the second window for having attended the JPT? 3 Or are you just restricted to 2 for your ST until General Sale?
StDunko Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 If you are a season ticket holder and also went to the JPT Final Home leg can you :- 1 Get two tickets in the first window for your ST and 2 Another ticket in the second window for having atteneded the JPT? 3 Or are you just restricted to 2 for your ST until General Sale? Exactly what I was going to ask.
musesaint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Exactly what I was going to ask. Looks like this could be possible reading the OS
Mr saint Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 If he gives his details they will be able to pull up a customer number for him. But will I be able to get his tickets for him at the same time as I get mine if I just give them his details? dont u need to have registered the dons ticket onto the number already tho? When we go he normally just buys on the day, but for this very reason he booked over the phone for the first time in order to get MKDons tickets and therefore onto the database.
Block 5 Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 (edited) If you are a season ticket holder and also went to the JPT Final Home leg can you :- 1 Get two tickets in the first window for your ST and 2 Another ticket in the second window for having attended the JPT? 3 Or are you just restricted to 2 for your ST until General Sale? Exactly what I was going to ask. Looks like this could be possible reading the OS Not a chance!!!!! You qualify as a ST holder and you are entitled to TWO tickets, not three! Just about every ST holder would have gone to the MK home leg. If every ST holder took their allocated 2 tickets and then took a ticket for having been at the area final that would be about 36,000 tickets gone out of our 44,000 allocation. That would leave only 8,000 tickets for non ST holders - which would not be enough to ensure that everyone who went to the area final got a ticket to Wembley. Edited 17 February, 2010 by Block 5
Um Bongo Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 If you are a season ticket holder and also went to the JPT Final Home leg can you :- 1 Get two tickets in the first window for your ST and 2 Another ticket in the second window for having attended the JPT? 3 Or are you just restricted to 2 for your ST until General Sale? From what i'm aware we are entitled to THREE tickets. Season ticket holders get two. Whether you went to the games or not. You then get one for attending the JPT. However they will have to be bought in the different windows. That's what I've been told anyway.

RedArmy Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 Correct me if I'm wrong, but Millwall had an allocation of just under 50,000 for the playoff final last year. So why are Wembley telling us this year that 44,000 is the max they can allow for a game?

Think there are a lot of engineering works on SWT that weekend so people are tending to stear clear of the trains. It was discussed on TUI here: http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.forum.posts.php?id_t=138674
benjii Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 This must be wrong! You qualify as a ST holder OR an area final ticket holder. In principle, you are probably right. In practice, I'm sure it will be easy enough to use your Area Final ticket to obtain additional ones (albeit, not together).

Don't think it will because it's still linked through your customer number.
Nexstar Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 When is general sale likely to start? Probably about the time they said... "Thereafter, General Sale starts on Monday 15th March via the telephone, online or at the ticket office. (Tickets are subject to availability)."

mcjwills Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 Not that I would advocate buying tickets in the away end but Carlise's tickets go on general sale on Monday

I assumed that you could only get this if you were a Club Wembley member, so I asked my mate who is and hey presto 4 tickets (Block 250 so I can take in the Red & White vista before me) without all the rigmarole that seems to have been going on in the threads above. You are paying top price but you would not being doing this every year (just yet): Got out of jail being knocked out of the FA and League Cups, £150 is the face value of seats in Club Wembley.
Shrivvy Saint Posted 17 February, 2010 Posted 17 February, 2010 Hi Guys, need some clarification. On 10th March sales period would I be able to buy me and my son a ticket, we both have customer numbers as ex ST holders.

You might, but you will have to work bloody hard for it..13.5k sth x 2 = 27k... most if not all will take their second ticket. 16k extra attendees at St Marys = 16k So there might be a couple of thousand max on general sale.

Stu stop winding him up him and his son will get a ticket, there will be a surprising amount of season ticket holders who will not take up their second ticket, if he has a positive approach he will get one. Those who want a ticket enough will get one. When we had the P*mpey free for all on open sales the chat was that that all the tickets would be sold out by 2pm on the Friday, I bought all the tickets that I wanted in the exact seats that I wanted eventually on the phone at 1:45pm on that Friday.

I am speaking from experience of what I know. We have 14 season ticket holders in our group and an swamped with people trying to get our extra ticket. Trust me... the "+1's" of season ticket holders will go pretty quickly, and when you add the sponsors and corporates into the equation, it's safe to say that only a couple of thousand tickets will reach general sale.

I am getting tickets on behalf of 43 season ticket holders all of which are using their option of 2 tickets (86 tickets in all) so agree with Stu on this one
Shrivvy Saint Posted 18 February, 2010 Posted 18 February, 2010 This is fair enough about the demand for tickets, it's just not clear to me whether I could buy two tickets with two database numbers in that 3rd sales period.
