Saint Keith Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 How much £ would you need for all 3 ? they are £271 each, open to (sensible) offers
Tomobz Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 And how can a booking fee be justified when there is no option but to incur a booking fee as sales at the ticket office are not permitted. They may have just increased the price. maybe u need to go through wembley ticketing office or something?! makes sense as the fa are bound to rape u for all the money they can get... they need to bail out pompey remember and that'll cost them a bomb
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 And how can a booking fee be justified when there is no option but to incur a booking fee as sales at the ticket office are not permitted. They may have just increased the price. I reckon it's probably Lukers idea to squeeze more money out of fans, and i expect it's a sign of things to come. You wait til next season when the ticket office regretably informs us that due to increased costs there will be a booking fee on transactions.

dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 they are £271 each, open to (sensible) offers That is a lot of money for a mickey mouse cup final. A mate of mine is trying to sort us out with a free box from contacts he has. Presumably the £271 includes food and drink?

Presumably the £271 includes food and drink? yes, from 11.30am, til 1 hour after the game. i make that about 5 hours of drinking time, i aim to get my moneys worth :drinkers:
Saint_clark Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 they are £271 each, open to (sensible) offers You can't be serious? Anyone who pays that rather than paying a maximum of £54 is a fool.
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 yes, from 11.30am, til 1 hour after the game. i make that about 5 hours of drinking time, i aim to get my moneys worth :drinkers: £271 minus £54 (ticket) minus £46ish (food) = £171 £3.50 a pint into £171 = 48 pints Good luck.
saintwarwick Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 north circular and m3 will be murder At least the M40 won't be so bad
Saint Keith Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 £3.50 a pint into £171 = 48 pints Good luck. £3.50 a pint, at wembley? you sure about that? nearer double mate!
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 £3.50 a pint, at wembley? you sure about that? nearer double mate! Yes. I think you have to sell a kidney just to be able to afford a few pints inside Wembley stadium!
Sour Mash Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 £3.50 a pint, at wembley? you sure about that? nearer double mate! No it was £4 a pint when I last went this summer. Still a f****g rip off! Never get why people pay that sort of mad money for a box. Could just buy a normal ticket and blow the rest around certain establishments in London :smt033
Saint Keith Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 blow the rest around certain establishments in London :smt033 who said that was out the question anyway :smt033 was £6 a pint at the oasis gig back in the summer
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I've no intention of going by coach. I was going through some paperwork the other day and found my Saints Charter that the club issued just before christmas. I remember reading that they promise that club travel will be made available on a not for profit basis. Someone's ripping someone off here but not sure who it is!! According to the Wembley site coach parking ranges in cost between £30 - £50. Therefore SFC are the ones doing the ripping off.
woodsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 44,000 initial allocation and il still not be able to get one. As I live in Northern Ireland il only be able to buy online or over the phone but cant as I am not a ST holder nor do I have a membership from last year. Looks like im going to have to travel over the day of general sale and queue up.

John Boy Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Woodsaint you will get a ticket mate. I am glad that I have a mate with Club Wembley seats so I should have my four seats lined up by the end of this week, shame is I will not be sat with the "boys" I usually sit with in the Chapel, they are making full use of the extra ticket for a good family day out............. Fair play to them.

pressingon Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 "Saints have been allocated seats in the North, South and West areas of the stadium" How will we know what blocks we have been allocated?
StuRomseySaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 "Saints have been allocated seats in the North, South and West areas of the stadium" How will we know what blocks we have been allocated? Half the stadium. Carlisle fans are moaning about their allocation??! WTF

.comsaint Posted 16 February, 2010 Author Posted 16 February, 2010 24,000 tickets...for a club that has a home gate normally around the 5,000 mark. Seems fair to me.
.comsaint Posted 16 February, 2010 Author Posted 16 February, 2010 Quote [from a Carlisle fan]: "Surely this is supposed to be a neutral venue though. If we have behind a goal and Saints have all three sides then surely that essentially becomes an away game for us handing Southampton a competitive advantage. Personally, I believe it should be half each and if we don't sell ours then the seats go empty". Eh??? Great - let's have 20,000 empty seats at Wembley for the final with thousands of Saints fans sitting at home watching it on the box when they'd have loved to have been there!?!? Apart from the loss in revenue & the silence of 20,000 empty seats going begging - that's the most stoopid post I've read since the old King died ffs!
Saint_clark Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Can you imagine if we got the extended allocation and took 60,000 Saints fans to Wembley?
saint_bert Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Can you imagine if we got the extended allocation and took 60,000 Saints fans to Wembley? I really think we could do it.
lordswoodsaints Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Isn't it all done by ticketmaster, hence the booking fee?
trousers Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Just booked my seats through club wembley - block 240 behind the saints goal - COYR!!
Sour Mash Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Reading this thread, it sounds like we've already got a lot more than the 44k, plenty going straight for the club Wembley seats.
saints_is_the_south Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 E-mailed David Luker yesterday regarding the club advertising a singing section & he has replied saying that is their plan.
Block 5 Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Does anyone know how the ticket money is distributed? Also, what is the prize fund for the winner and runner-up? Thanks in advance.

jamesb Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Still Laughing at the £3.50 / pint at Wembley comment! Maybe possible if you drinking cordial!
Bensfcno1 Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Can you imagine if we got the extended allocation and took 60,000 Saints fans to Wembley? My step dad is a Luton fan (they won it last year) and they sold out ther 1/2 of the stadium, with s****horpe selling about 15k i think. Luton asked if they could have more due to the lack of Scuny tickes being sold, but they were not aloud. Each club can have upto halve the tickets available after club Wembley and corporate, so unless we buy the whole club wembley seats and some from Carlisle i cant see this happening! The Carlisle fans moaning its not fair, It is if we sell the Full amount and they cant! thats not our or the FA's fault!

Sour Mash Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Still Laughing at the £3.50 / pint at Wembley comment! Maybe possible if you drinking cordial! It's £4 a pint at Wembley. Still an utter rip off, don't know why anyone would go in the ground early and pay that.
sotonjoe Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 David Luker has replied to my email about the confusing seating plan colours and confirmed what amount of choice we will get about seat location when buying tickets. Here are the important bits... Not the best of plans that’s for sure. It’s one we get directly from Wembley, and it could be better The seats you refer to are the £34 seats When it comes to booking tickets, it’s our plan to have varying blocks linked together. As an example: £34 seats in blocks 128-131 £34 seats in blocks 129-134 So, in summary, we SHOULD assume that aqua on the seating plan is the same price as the green seats. And we won't be specifying exact blocks where we want tickets, but we should be able to choose within a few blocks, i.e. you can buy a seat in block 131 - 134, but can't specify block 132.

If carlisle only allocated 24k and they are unlikely to sell all of these then surely we can take the remainder, segregation allowing? As I understood it segregtion only comes into it when club (carlisle) asks for more tickets but then dont sell all of the extra tickets which then prevents other club (saints) from getting even more due to segregation issues.
MINIBARCELONASAINT Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 May of been mentioned above but; am i right in thinking that you cannot buy the tickets at the ticket office till general sale on Monday 15th? So If you are a season ticket holder wishing to purchase in the first window you need to do it over the phone or online??
Bensfcno1 Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 If carlisle only allocated 24k and they are unlikely to sell all of these then surely we can take the remainder, segregation allowing? This is excactly the situation Luton had and were not aloud extra tickets! I dont think its really an allocation, its more like Carlisle obviously dont believe they will sell anymore than 24k, if they do then they will be able to have more, Luton were told they would not under no circumstances be aloud any mor tickets irrespective of S****horpes sold allocation!
iansums Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 This is excactly the situation Luton had and were not aloud extra tickets! If we were able to sell more than the 44,000 and this were the case it would be a real shame and financial madness. Let's face it why would you not want to sell tickets for seats that would otherwise be empty. I would hope that Wembley had learnt a lesson from what happened with Luton last year.
Saint_clark Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 (edited) EDIT; nevermind. Edited 16 February, 2010 by Saint_clark
Frank's cousin Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 Oh FFS, stop whinging about the coach price... we are going to Wembley - one of the few clubs that will have played in a final at the old Wembley, Cardiff and the New wembley! 8 months ago we were desperate for the club to survive, fans were donating cash, we were told teh club needs to live within its means so, so do you really begrudge your club maybe £50k tops in a profit on the coaches? Come on we should enjoy it.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 That's odd, I can see it in the reply box when I quote it but not on the actual thread. try refreshing - i posted a duff link then edited it
Saint_clark Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 try refreshing - i posted a duff link then edited it Done. Would be utterly fantastic if we could fill the rest of the stadium...
