Shroppie Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Dilemma Season ticket holder so can get two tickets, but want three. To get three together, presumably have to wait for general sale, but I'm out of the country from March 14th to 21st. Will they sell out? Do I get two and hope for another later, accepting not together? Can I get my two season ticket ones then one extra restricted sale? Still not together. Can I just apply by post for three? Stress.......
krissyboy31 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Confirmed on the JP website as a 1.30 KO. Yep 1.30 pm. Liverpool v Sunderland on Sky at 4.00.
beatlesaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 That'll be down to Wembley itself. It's the same whenever I buy concert tickets for any large venue - they add a few quid on for a 'booking fee'. It's a massive con of course in this instant-electronic super-highway world of today - but what can you do? Thats right, you cant blame Saints for that, that'll be Wembley's little money maker ! What does surprise me is the £25 for coach travel though.....thats a bit steep and for a 50 seater comes to well over £1200 per coach !!!!

The coach travel is very steep considering its London and its £23.50 to go to Norwich on the bingo buses on saturday.
JustMike Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 that colour thing makes no sense! Which shade of green is that? why couldnt they just do it by block numbers!
rocknrollman no2 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Thats right, you cant blame Saints for that, that'll be Wembley's little money maker ! What does surprise me is the £25 for coach travel though.....thats a bit steep and for a 50 seater comes to well over £1200 per coach !!!! Sounds a bit steep for the bingo bus from the stadium? We have booked a sixteen seater minibus and along with the price of our seats,we also have to pay for parking at Wembley as well. This still only comes to about the same price, yet theres 52 seats on the coach?
JRM Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 The coach travel is very steep considering its London and its £23.50 to go to Norwich on the bingo buses on saturday. coaches are a rip off, keep an eye out and see if Greyhound offer a service for the game, would be much cheaper. Or get a load together and hire your own coach. could go via a pub then.
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 The more i look at the map the more i reckon lukers got a work experience kid to bodge it up using microsoft paint. Where does the Saints sections start and end? Surely anyone with half a brain would've highlighted the seats given over to Carlisle.
saint_bert Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 How good will it look with a sea of red and white there
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 Don't forget the clocks go forward the night before...meaning an hour's less kip to get over the pre-Wembley hangover!
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 coaches are a rip off, keep an eye out and see if Greyhound offer a service for the game, would be much cheaper. Or get a load together and hire your own coach. could go via a pub then. Greyhound looks to be sold out
Tractor_Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Do I accept a free corporate ticket or pay to sit with Saints fans? I'm tempted to do the latter. I'd do both - then go for the free pre-match lunch and beer, go join the 'real fans' and then back at half time for more beer with no queues Peachy.
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Do I accept a free corporate ticket or pay to sit with Saints fans? I'm tempted to do the latter. I am possibly going to be invited to share a box (drinks and food included) but not sure that's what i want. I'd rather stand behind the goal and go mental.
SFC Forever Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I would expect the club to give a more detailed seating outline before the tickets go on sale. Or hope.
John McAndrew Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 why 2 different greens....so is behind the goals £34
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 why 2 different greens....so is behind the goals £34 We don't know
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 with the size of allocation we are getting maybe allowing season ticket holders 3 tickets each wouldnt be too greedy, plus it would make life easier for me :-)
Block 5 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 After the ST priority is finished with and it's open to people who went to the area final will I be entitled to two as I went to both MK Dons games? My parents both want a ticket and I've already promised my spare ST ticket to someone. No. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1966914,00.html "Area Final attendees are second on the priority list, with one ticket available per supporter who is on our database as having attended either the home or the away leg of the two games against MK Dons." HTH.
Bourno Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Online bookings £3 per booking - telephone £3 per ticket Is there a subtle difference here that means ordering a group of tickets online will only incur one £3 booking fee?
saintsrob Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Hi, I understand there may be a few posts requesting tickets for Wembley but wondered if any season tickets holder could help me out in getting two tickets. As I live in Coventry (and my brother in Glasgow) we were unable to attend the MK Dons game as it was a midweek game, but I have been to 8 games this season home and away so hope no-one could accuse me of being a 'plastic' fan. If a season ticket holder could possibly help in getting me two tickets once they go on sale next week I'd obviously pay face value for the two tickets plus an extra £10 that could pay for a pie and pint for a future game (or at Wembley) for helping me out. I understand obviously that season ticket holders will want to use their ticket to get their ticket and some for friends/family, but if anyone is unable to attend the game at Wembley or is in a family/group of mates with numerous season tickets then I hope someone could help me out. I'm aware that I could wait for tickets to go on general sale as 44k is a large allocation but would prefer to know in advance that I have tickets and can stop worrying and book transport. If anyone thinks they can help please email me at robertgillman@hotmail.com and we can talk further, if not no worries and hopefully I’ll get tickets later on. Cheers Rob
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 rob wins the prize for first ticket plea there i think ;-)
saintsrob Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Can the prize be two tickets to Wembley please?
Tractor_Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 rob wins the prize for first ticket plea there i think ;-) Could be a Nigerian 419 scam? Send me your bank details and I'll transfer the money...

Synergy Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Jesus Christ this is going to be like Pompey all over again isn't it? Mass panic over tickets when there will blatently be enough to go round.

What does surprise me is the £25 for coach travel though.....thats a bit steep and for a 50 seater comes to well over £1200 per coach !!!! Its probably because they will have to draft coaches in from all over the South and South West of england to meet demand I doubt if there are sufficient coaches in the local area.

Well they managed for Cardiff in 2003 and the ZDS in 1992 without the price being on the high side........how many coaches left St Marys for both the semi final and final in 2003 ? Well over 40 for each, I'm sure it was.

dubai_phil Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I know you've all been yacking about the colour of the PDF file. But just coming back to the thread title.... Holy KRAP - 44,000 tickets. 44,000 Saints fans in one place on one day Not bad for a 125 year old that nearly died 8 months ago

beatlesaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 near to 100 for each' date=' we were on 96[/quote'] yeah exactly - i meant 90 rather than 40 - so if 100 coaches go this time at £25 a head for a 52 seater thats £130,000, and i am sure that will mean a healthy profit for all concerned. I would have thought the club would have subsidised coach travel a bit more to be honest.

Pennyred Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Example of private coach hire from Zenith - 35 seater £450 plus Wembley parking - less than bingo bus per head. Also 16 seater £380 plus parking. Already posted suggesting Zenith, but have just found notes I made last Wednesday.
red&white56 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Yep, blocks 131 to 136 for standers & singers please guys! OK spread the word - that's where I'm going for a sing song !

the saint in winchester Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 CAT 1 = Orange seats blocks 222-231 middle tier south stand. CAT 2 = purple seats. Prime half-way line seats and some middle tier. CAT 3 - Green seats - behind goals lower tier and side stand upper tier centre CAT 4 - Yellow seats - behind goal upper tiers, not a bad view but quite a way from the action. It is a similar breakdown to what they have for England games. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/36/49/0,,10280~149814,00.pdf Then I can't tell the difference between the two yellow colours. Orange and yellow, you say?? They both look yellow to me. Am I colour-blind? Am I talking to myself? :-(
Saint Keith Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 we have got 3 spare spaces in a box if anyone would like to join us

emerson massey Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 we have got 3 spare spaces in a box if anyone would like to join us How much £ would you need for all 3 ?
alpine_saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 44000 - better than a poke in the eye, and its an INITIAL allocation. Reckon everyone who wants to go will get a ticket.
Tomobz Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 is anyone else looking forward to this far too much considering its just the jpt!? i can wait to watch saints at wembley!!! never thought it wud happen in my lifetime
vico Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I've no intention of going by coach. I was going through some paperwork the other day and found my Saints Charter that the club issued just before christmas. I remember reading that they promise that club travel will be made available on a not for profit basis. Someone's ripping someone off here but not sure who it is!!
forever a red and white Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 nightmare, need three tickets so can all sit together, least will be able to get 2!
Thedelldays Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 nightmare, need three tickets so can all sit together, least will be able to get 2! wait till the 15th March...there is bound to be some left that is what I am doing.
vico Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 And how can a booking fee be justified when there is no option but to incur a booking fee as sales at the ticket office are not permitted. They may have just increased the price.
