Matthew Le God Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Well about 15k seats are club wembley which have already had a large up take so if all were to sell out, ie Carlisle 26k, Saints 44k and Club Wembley 10K - thats 85k - also there is a quantity of football league "commercial interests" tickets for JPT, other sponsors etc. so expect 85k-88k - there won't be 25k empty seats for segregation!!! Some strange adding up there.
Saint_clark Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Some strange adding up there. He seems to have counted club Wembley twice - and as two different figures.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 It's the people who react to every negative post that confound me... I think it just proves to me what I always thought. That he is WuM. End of.

I know of quite a few Saints Fans who have got hold of Club Wembley seats we will have well over 46000 fans on the day I reckon.
EBS1980 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I know of quite a few Saints Fans who have got hold of Club Wembley seats we will have well over 46000 fans on the day I reckon. How they manage that? Paid over the odds for them or just through "contacts"
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I know of quite a few Saints Fans who have got hold of Club Wembley seats we will have well over 46000 fans on the day I reckon. Myself and 6 mates have, so that's 7 for you.
StD Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 What is the magic number? Is it the 0800 or the local one (and what is that?) Cheers 3 is the magic number. But 01271 335708 is even more special.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 How they manage that? Paid over the odds for them or just through "contacts" I got them through contacts, not sure how others got them, but I'd assume the same way.
EBS1980 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I got them through contacts, not sure how others got them, but I'd assume the same way. It's at time like these i wish i had "contacts"
millsy Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Hopefully there will be some left on Weds, i only want 2 tickets... If as it seems likely there are going to be many fans left unable to get tickets. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy tickets in the neutral section? If so how... Thanks Too much for my wallet, but might be of interest to some. (ignore the fact it says Saracens it does link to JPT final). It all looks above board. http://www.chooseyourevent.co.uk/Saracens_South_%20Africa_wembley_stadium Wembley Pitch View Diamond Package - £209.00 (inc VAT) * Reserved premium ticket in the Pitch View restaurant (corporate box level - southwest corner of the Stadium) with tables overlooking the pitch Hot and Cold Buffet Brunch selection with complimentary beer/wine/soft drinks from 2 hours before scheduled kick off Half Time Freshly brewed & coffee served with biscuits (Cash bar available) Post match selection of afternoon tea sandwiches, gourmet pies and complimentary beer/wine/soft drinks (1 hour post) Match Day programme Guaranteed private tables for orders 8 or over
irishsaint83 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Some strange adding up there. well the 10k was suppose to be 15k!! typo..... jees
JRM Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 we have sold 40k, and i have been making the points above since the day they went on sale. it is a farce.
Matthew Le God Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 well the 10k was suppose to be 15k!! typo..... jees 24k + 44k + 10k = 78k Not the 88k you said...
Matthew Le God Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 well the 10k was suppose to be 15k!! typo..... jees 24k + 44k + 10k = 78k Not the 88k you said. I also doubt 10,000 neutrals would be interested in this game.
irishsaint83 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 24k + 44k + 10k = 78k Not the 88k you said... It was a rough est which is as follows 44k Saints + 26k Carlisle + 15k Club Wembley (i had miss typed to 10k but if your read the first part you'd have seen 15k)..... and the few commercial tickets the football league have...... Did I say 88k? NO, i said expect 85k-88k, further making the point that there won't be 25k empty seats. ffs, how the **** would i know that there would be 88k? it was a bloody est.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 we have sold 40k, and i have been making the points above since the day they went on sale. it is a farce. Couldn't agree more. The club knew demand would be high. TBH they are damned if they do, damned if they don't - but they should have made it one ticket per ST holder first, then Area Final, then restricted sale (one extra for ST holders and database). General sale should have followed then. Where they went wrong was allowing more than one per person at the first stages along with the issues over the online system - you had people on here bragging about how many they got on one database or ST number. Crazy. If we're going to be successful, they need to improve on this.
Saint Keith Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 How they manage that? Paid over the odds for them or just through "contacts" neither. you just ring up wembley and ask for them. the jpt isnt included in the package for club wembley, hence why they are available on an open basis for this game

Crazy. If we're going to be successful, they need to improve on this. Everyone who really wanted to go had the opportunity to buy a ticket for either MK Dons at home or away. This guarenteed a final ticket. Those who miss out (and not many will) will only have themselves to blame.
OldNick Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 it is interesting that when I phoned the ticket hotline today it said there would be a booking fee of 1.50. When ibought tickets it was £3 per ticket. So much for the fans charter and we wouldnt be overcharged etc.
Matthew Le God Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 further making the point that there won't be 25k empty seats. There will though roughly be 20k empty seats. Carlisle have an allocation of 24k not 26k as you said and have only sold 19k of them and sales are trickling off now. Saints 44k. Unlikely many neutrals will be interested. Certainly no where near the 10k you guessed.

trousers Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 (edited) neither. you just ring up wembley and ask for them. the jpt isnt included in the package for club wembley, hence why they are available on an open basis for this game But only club wembley members can buy 'seat only' tickets at £58 each. There may well be wembley 'packages' available (e.g. The £199 quoted above) but club wembley seats (on a 'seat only' basis) can only be purchased through club wembley members. I bought my £58 club wembley seats through my company who are a club wembley member. Edited 9 March, 2010 by trousers

Those who miss out (and not many will) will only have themselves to blame. Not wanting to split hairs but you are wrong. They were only guaranteed a final ticket if they went to one of the area final games AND WAS REGISTERED ON THE DATABASE!!! The club failed to tell fans this important bit when fans paid for their tickets at the booking office at the stadium in person!!! I was lucky and managed to get round this but i suspect there are many unhappy fans that are now going to miss out on Wembley because they believed JUST going to the area final would guarantee them a final ticket.
ahill Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Does anyone know where Postal Applications fall in the priority list tomorrow ?? Will the pile of letters be opened at 08.30am or just when some-one has a free moment ??
maxi_sopez Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 i went to the area final but my dad didnt so cant get tickets...oh well will have to see if we can get anyway, and after that start trying to wing it!
Saints67 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I only paid £3 in total for 3 tickets? Booking fees: £3 per ticket before tomorrow. £3 per booking from tomorrow was how i read it.

Anyone with half a brain would ask that the ticket(s) they purchased be recorded on their customer history. It's not like using the database to assess eligibility is a new thing.
dune Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Does anyone know where Postal Applications fall in the priority list tomorrow ?? Will the pile of letters be opened at 08.30am or just when some-one has a free moment ?? You've asked this several times. Why don't you just ring the club up and ask them?
KK the 2nd Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 strange how this club wembley works, as your company is a member do you just call up, quote the membership number and they sell you the tickets, if so is there a limit on how many they were allowing each club wembley member to buy? in theory, could you still buy more tickets through your companies membership for other saints fans and you sell them on to them? My company has four seats/packages on a corporate debenture basis at Club Wembley for the main sports events. The JTP final is not one of the events. Therefore you are right you just call up, quote the membership number and they sell you the tickets but only for the seats you have (in this case four).
bristolsaint29 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Booking fees: £3 per ticket before tomorrow. £3 per booking from tomorrow was how i read it. Paid a total of £75 for 3 x £24 tickets?
Sour Mash Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 Paid a total of £75 for 3 x £24 tickets? Oh for f**ks sake. It was/is £3 per booking via the internet and £3 per ticket for bookings over the phone.
saint_mears Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 How much did they cost? What number? I've just called and they said tickets are only available from the clubs. sales@wembleystadium.com is what i used. Three rows behind the Saints dugout

Window Cleaner Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I would rather spend a Sunday afternoon as a guest of the US military in Guantanemo Bay. can probably be arranged...they're not choosy, or so I'm told, if you look the part you're in, getting out well not so much..I think it was in East Germany (after reunification) that you could spend a week-end in one of their "labour camps"(for quite a lot of money) .Wouldn't be sure that they got too many repeat clients though.
saint_mears Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 How much were the tickets and did you need to quote any Club Wembley or other details to get tickets through this route? Ta Ewell Prices are £199+ £10 booking fee for that you are in the bobby moore club which has the seats up from the dugouts. Refreshments etc as listed in an earlier post. Florent.Coulon@wembleystadium.com was the direct contact.
dubai_phil Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 I would rather spend a Sunday afternoon as a guest of the US military in Guantanemo Bay. Oh that's easy to arrange
krissyboy31 Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 MK Dons home game didnt even sell out so no excuse about not being able to get a ticket for that game either. It did in the home areas apart from the corporates.
John McAndrew Posted 9 March, 2010 Posted 9 March, 2010 It did in the home areas apart from the corporates. but people who bought mk dons tickets with out being on the database were told at the time the stubbs were ok but then this was changed later and got pused down to general sale....this happened to me but i was lucky enough to have good friends....how many other people was told this and missed out
