krissyboy31 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Wow, about 6,000 more than I was expecting. Should be pretty much enough to go round.
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 Wow, about 6,000 more than I was expecting. Should be pretty much enough to go round. Yep. And to quote the OS to the letter - it does say we have been allocated "over 44,000 tickets". Those extra few hundred may make all the difference to someone.
NickG Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 can't quite make out plan on this small screen - any obvious best place?
Bensfcno1 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 The plan dosnt make sense! dosnt say what categorie behind the goal is! Anyone know why this is?
John D Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 can't quite make out plan on this small screen - any obvious best place? Also there are more colours than price categories!
Matthew Le God Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I wonder if more would be released if the 44k get sold?
bpsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 (edited) can't quite make out plan on this small screen - any obvious best place? In terms of view it will be the purple seats in the North and South stands, although everyone on here was hoping to have a singing section say blocks 131-136 but the plan doesn't make it clear whether we've actually been allocated those sections. Edited 15 February, 2010 by bpsaint
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 Here's a bigger plan. Will find a better/more detailed plan when I've got time:
Thedelldays Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 anywhere will do..will wait till the 15th march to be able to sit with my mate
mdearlove Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 (edited) I expect the some of the ones not listed in the colour key are the Club Wembley seats. There are several categories available of those. Edited 15 February, 2010 by mdearlove
saints_is_the_south Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Singers in Cat 3 behind the goal? Yep, blocks 131 to 136 for standers & singers please guys!
Berkshire Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I wonder if more would be released if the 44k get sold? That's what I was wondering. If it's true that Carlisle have only got 20k tickets that leaves around 25k seats empty! Unless it's possible to buy tickets directly through Wembley, which it doesn't seem to be from looking on its website.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Quality. Wonder what Carlisle have got. Doesn't say here but their forum was quoting 25k yesterday. http://www.carlisleunited.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10361~1965933,00.html
Tractor_Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Singers in Cat 3 behind the goal? "Saints have been allocated seats in the North, South and West areas of the stadium" So, doesn't that mean that blocks 104 & 105 and blocks 118 & 119 would be the best for those wanting to sing at the opposition fans?
krissyboy31 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 That's what I was wondering. If it's true that Carlisle have only got 20k tickets that leaves around 25k seats empty! Unless it's possible to buy tickets directly through Wembley, which it doesn't seem to be from looking on its website. As we have affectively 3 sides, with segregation I would think it unlikely we would get any more TBH.
landford.saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 just checked Carlisle site, they can have 9 tickets each and have the East end only!
SaintDonkey Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Arse - I has hoping for 3 tickets per season ticket holder. Now I've got to choose between my mate and my brother as to which I sit with!
Andy_Porter Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 After the ST priority is finished with and it's open to people who went to the area final will I be entitled to two as I went to both MK Dons games? My parents both want a ticket and I've already promised my spare ST ticket to someone.
Thedelldays Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 So we can probably turn it into a home game really. Against Carlisle. There will never be a better chance for a trophy. We wouldn't screw that up would we. :smt110
eurosaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 So we can probably turn it into a home game really. Against Carlisle. There will never be a better chance for a trophy. We wouldn't screw that up would we. I wish you hadn't just said that !
JRM Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 typical saints making it much more complicated than it needs to be! General sale should come up much earlier, people will hold back so they can buy tickets with large groups of mates / family who do not go as regularly. Fairly good chance they will give us more tickets, but if we don't sell out til mid-march might be too late to arrange that.
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Not clear what price the rear of blocks 133 and 134 is going to be! You'd think that, between them, the club and Wembley could distribute a seating plan that made sense.
JRM Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 "Saints have been allocated seats in the North, South and West areas of the stadium" So, doesn't that mean that blocks 104 & 105 and blocks 118 & 119 would be the best for those wanting to sing at the opposition fans? No for Wembley best place is defintely the end behind the goal to create atmosphere
Colinjb Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 If anyone could clarify what exactly those categories mean, that would be great.

dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 £3 per ticket booking fee - what a ****ing joke. Another Luker brainwave to rip off fans.
Thedelldays Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 £3 per ticket booking fee - what a ****ing joke. Another Luker brainwave to rip off fans. you have to be pooing me..? £3 booking fee....!!!!!
StD Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 After the ST priority is finished with and it's open to people who went to the area final will I be entitled to two as I went to both MK Dons games? My parents both want a ticket and I've already promised my spare ST ticket to someone. I'm hoping so to, but unfortunately the site doesn't read that way. Also, the booking fees are high - £3 per ticket for telephone sales when its normally no extra with Saints (dictated by FA perhaps?) Having said that, I wouldn't miss this if ticket prices were 5x higher!
JRM Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 If anyone could clarify what exactly those categories mean, that would be great. CAT 1 = Orange seats blocks 222-231 middle tier south stand. CAT 2 = purple seats. Prime half-way line seats and some middle tier. CAT 3 - Green seats - behind goals lower tier and side stand upper tier centre CAT 4 - Yellow seats - behind goal upper tiers, not a bad view but quite a way from the action. It is a similar breakdown to what they have for England games. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/36/49/0,,10280~149814,00.pdf
Tomobz Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 the singing areas will sell out quickly i imagine but cant see all 44k going for a very long time. everyone will panic by them on the first day though probably lol
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 You'd think that, between them, the club and Wembley could distribute a seating plan that made sense. That map is shockingly **** poor. That light coloured gree areas aren't even on sale so it looks so all the bank of seats behind the goal aren't being sold ????
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 It is clear? That will be £34 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/36/49/0,,10280~149814,00.pdf Not if you don't assume aqua = green. The seats are quite clearly aqua on the seating plan and different to the green used on the key and elsewhere on the seating plan.
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 That map is shockingly **** poor. That light coloured gree areas aren't even on sale so it looks so all the bank of seats behind the goal aren't being sold ???? yeh, the aqua thing is very misleading. JRM assumes they are 'green' just like the other areas, but it's definitely a different colour that is being used. Maybe aqua is reserved club wembley seating? I've no idea but the fact that it's unclear is very disappointing. I'll have to send David Luker an email if I get time.
Saint_lambden Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 http://www.mikepyott.com/wembley.html ^^ Shows some views from blocks higher up- can be hard to see the action.
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 you have to be pooing me..? £3 booking fee....!!!!! That'll be down to Wembley itself. It's the same whenever I buy concert tickets for any large venue - they add a few quid on for a 'booking fee'. It's a massive con of course in this instant-electronic super-highway world of today - but what can you do?
dune Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Not if you don't assume aqua = green. The seats are quite clearly aqua on the seating plan and different to the green used on the key and elsewhere on the seating plan. That's what i thought. I fancy the aqua green area (blocks 128 - 139) but these are a different green to the green that are for sale. Typical of Saints rubbish ticket office to **** things up.

Typical of Saints rubbish ticket office to **** things up. yeh, i want the same level, but as close to the centre as possible (134-136). It'll be interesting to see what amount of choice we get over tickets though. Maybe we'll only be able to request a certain price category anyway.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 the singing areas will sell out quickly i imagine but cant see all 44k going for a very long time. everyone will panic by them on the first day though probably lol Wouldn't worry about that, everybody will be singing like they were at Cardiff.
Gudz Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I was in block 249 for England v Belarus, awesome view! I, however, will be aiming for blocks 132-135 - as far back as possible - stood - and singing all game! Can't wait!
maxi_sopez Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 is kickoff time confirmed yet cant find it anywhere ?
Thedelldays Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 is kickoff time confirmed yet cant find it anywhere ? 1330 i think
.comsaint Posted 15 February, 2010 Author Posted 15 February, 2010 is kickoff time confirmed yet cant find it anywhere ? Confirmed on the JP website as a 1.30 KO.
Tractor_Saint Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 Confirmed on the JP website as a 1.30 KO. And also in your originally posted link : The Club's first visit to the redeveloped Wembley for the match against Carlisle United on Sunday 28th March 2010 kicks off at 1.30pm.
sotonjoe Posted 15 February, 2010 Posted 15 February, 2010 I've just emailed David Luker the following... Could you do me a favour and answer the following question about the Wembley seating plan posted on the official Saints website please (http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/36/49/0,,10280~149814,00.pdf)? I'd like to know what pricing category the aqua coloured seats - rear of blocks 128 - 139- are please? These seats appear to be a completely different colour to any that is used on the key for the seating plan. Also, when it comes to buying tickets next week, are we allowed to specify particular blocks where we want to sit or can we only request seats in a particular price category? Will the choices be the same if we use the online system as opposed to phoning? Thanks for your time in dealing with this Will let you know if I get a reply tomorrow.
