I know that they are not the brightest buttons on the planet but surely SOME of them must have wondered why Mandaric got out. SOME of them must have wondered where the money to fund players such as Campbell and Crouch came from. But no they were happy to cheer at the FA Cup that was bought for them and would have screamed at Gaydamak for lacking ambition if he had cut back on the whole merry jamboree. I have sympathy for some of the more sensible Skates of my acquaintance but for the bulk of them - not a jot.

Only know a couple of sensible ones

No, not at all. A big win against your local rivals on their own patch? Doesn't matter what division you're in.......

Correct. It wasn't luck it was superior skill. We had Englands goalkeeper to keep you out, and we had superior pace and finishing at the other end. A "Lucky win" would have been 2-1.

4-1 is something different entirely.........

You can dress it up as much as you like. A thrashing was like the 5-1 you had at home against Arsenal in the cup on tv. The result saturday was a case of a PL side under the cosh and playing for a break away. The goals were well taken. We fell for some sucker counter attack goals when we went for it, your lot came for a draw and hoped to nick it. well done, perhaps freedom of the City can be given to the players as well as calling the cathedrals bells after them alonside Harry of course.

Could explain why the self proclaimed loudest best fans ever in the world were so quiet :-)

Surely not, though, they had thousands of supporters in saints areas, only reason we sold out. *****s the lot of em.

Well I was certainly in a saints area; but I was hardly going to advertise that fact. And I expect you would have sold out even if hadn't bought a ticket.

Good to see you paid your fiver membership, maybe you should have put it into supporting your club.......or will your club be chelsea or arsenal again when you drop back through the leagues??

Pooor little PUPs have gotten emselves all excited haven't they. Go ask a neutral who watched the match and see how the called it......thrashing certainly didn't come into it, you deservedly won but so you should, I just thought being a prem side you would be....well, better.

Shame you didn't make yourself known, I would have liked to shake your hand after the match.

Perhaps the poster was expecting to watch the football and support the Saints without listening to foulmouth bigotory.

He probably thought you tedious and tiresome

You must really create some hostile atmosphere at derby games you dickhead. Count the people there who weren't using 4 letter language at times and you will have enough fingers.

But you're doing it on a discussion forum for Saints fans, which suggests that you might have a problem with hostility.

So it's all in the hands of the Courts now as to whether your club will even exist in a week or so.

So how hollow will this defeat of a club two divisions below feel, eh?

So what will you be doing? Supporting them in the Blue Square South like a real fan, or switching your allegiance to one of the glory teams? Mind you, we could be in the top 5 or 6 clubs in the Premiership in a few years, so you could support us as your local glory team, once more the pride of Hampshire.

Go ahead and admit it; the pendulum is swinging firmly back in our direction and even before the end of the season you could be well below us. Even if you somehow avoid administration or liquidation, you will be relegated to the fizzy pop and will have to sell any half decent players to even keep up with the debts you have. I'd put money on you going down again in successive seasons if I wasn't so confident that you will end up being liquidated instead.

Do you know what? We'll be just fine, believe me....

And just what standards do you apply to your life - pray tell? No double standards or skeletons in your cupboards then? You must be either an MP or a catholic priest.

Sanctimonious patronising etc
