Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Now we're definitely confirmed as on our way to Wembley, who would swap victory on Saturday for our day out in North London? If you couldn't have both, what would it be...?
Bucks Saint Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Now we're definitely confirmed as on our way to Wembley' date=' who would swap victory on Saturday for our day out in North London? saint_stevo Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 i would rather we were challenging for top 6
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Wembley or a top 6 place is far more important than beating the Skates. We won't win on Saturday, so Wembley it is.
Appy Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 I think both will happen regardless of what i put in this thread.
Arizona Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Wembley, easily. I think some people are putting a little too much emphasis on the derby if they'd take it over our first silverwear for over 30 years. Besides, tomorrow isnt about winning. It's about throwing Monopoly money, waving fivers and singing "is this the way to liquidation"
channonball Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Win over Pompey, this could be the last game they ever play. This is THE biggest game ever!!!
Give it to Ron Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Win over Pompey, this could be the last game they ever play. This is THE biggest game ever!!! Why?......to me winning in 76 was the best ever to beat Man Utd team of superstars with a team of ageing old codgers was superb. Why is beating them tomorrow the best ever ? We beat them twice in the relegation season what gets remembered the most?

Strange, the home League win in '04 seems to be the Derby (out of the recent 6) that nobody remembers. 2-1, Phillips and Blackstock IIRC.
ottery st mary Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 No choice......Still on for the hatrick......Just...
channonball Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 This is significant because it could be the last game we ever play them in their current form. We are 2 divisions lower but have a good chance of winning. If this is the last game, the gloating rights will last forever. It will help erase the 4-1 humiliatiion a few years ago. If we win, they'd be even less attractive to a potential investor. There are so many reasons this is a massive game. Perhaps I was going over the top a bit in suggesting this is the biggest game ever. But it's the biggest game this week and will massively boost confidence of a potential play-off campaign.
Chez Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 I wonder if in their heart of hearts they would they would swap the FA Cup win for the 4-1 if they had to choose? When asked to choose between Premiership survival and beating us on the Quay last night they were split right down the middle.
dune Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 I hate these sort of questions. We are at Wembley and now i want us to beat the Scum on their last ever game.
RedArmy Posted 12 February, 2010 Posted 12 February, 2010 Win tomorrow, end of story. When we're back in the prem we will lol at how excited we got about a tin top trophy. If we beat the skates tomorrow, saints fans will still take the p1ss over it for decades.
