JustMike Posted 13 March, 2010 Posted 13 March, 2010 Fortunately I have not had to give your rabble a motivational speech, and I must say I can't compete with Phil's, as 35 minutes of him reminicing about a Bullfrog and his exploits on a golf course when he was holding an umbrella for a golfers ex wife is very hard to beat. I will have to concentrate on stupid things like telling me players what an honour it is to be their manager. Fergie Vs Benitez has nothing on you two ;-)
dubai_phil Posted 13 March, 2010 Posted 13 March, 2010 If you score I think we all will celebrate as Haleys Comet is more likely to appear above us on the night. As I mentioned to the Flying Finn you dont celebrate own goals. I do appreciate the sentiments though, i do hope you enjoy the away team dressing room, it is still the pits wheras my team have the luxury of the newly updated home dressing room. I've heard tell that some of your lot couldn't score at Horton Heath let alone SMS.. Oh and how dare people try and compare me & nickh with a low life manic depressant loser like Benitez
OldNick Posted 13 March, 2010 Posted 13 March, 2010 I've heard tell that some of your lot couldn't score at Horton Heath let alone SMs My team wont do sloppy seconds after Avram has finished, I'll leave that to the away teams finest.
JustMike Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 another 1.7 miles last night...think i need to lay down in a dark room now.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 another 1.7 miles last night...think i need to lay down in a dark room now. Keep up this training malarky and you simply will not fit in with that bunch of....................
OldNick Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 another 1.7 miles last night...think i need to lay down in a dark room now. Well done mike, the rest of your team had better do the same as they will have to run that extra distance due to your misplaced passes
Foxy Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Fergie Vs Benitez has nothing on you two ;-) No, but two old ladies down the bingo hall would be able to be slotted in in their place in the event of alien abduction and few would be any the wiser
The9 Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 No in-fighting this year, I remember last season's "dropped to the bench for (not) drinking" controversy and the childish gestures...
SaintDonkey Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Well done mike, the rest of your team had better do the same as they will have to run that extra distance due to your misplaced passes Sure thing gaffer, the training's coming along nicely. I can almost make it from the end of the beer garden to the bar now without taking a breather
dubai_phil Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 another 1.7 miles last night...think i need to lay down in a dark room now. Great news. My routine is slowly building momentum as well, especially as I had taken a break with all the golf work going on. I am now getting up to the first milestone of 4 pints every other night. Hopefully this will stand me in good stead for the big weekend at the JPT and I can take that on as I build up to the big night.
OldNick Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 No in-fighting this year, I remember last season's "dropped to the bench for (not) drinking" controversy and the childish gestures... And I thought I had Barry Ferguson on the bench waiting to come on!!! As for Andy P chatting up the spectators, the Flying Finn looking well cheesed off as Granty had just told him that he was in his side next season....and SaintsMadSi.....what can I say
OldNick Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 No, but two old ladies down the bingo hall would be able to be slotted in in their place in the event of alien abduction and few would be any the wiser Im not sure if I like that one Foxy, what has happened to the respect all of a sudden? I now can see I have been lax in my disipline,50 press ups for you as punishment. Dont come back until you have done them. My wife called to me last night 'Nick there is a Chinese lantern in the sky' I went and had a look and replied ' No my dear It is Foxy doing some shooting practice, that is a football'
JustMike Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Well done mike, the rest of your team had better do the same as they will have to run that extra distance due to your misplaced passes ahh yes but unfortuneately no amount of training is going to solve that little problem, hence why im at LB this year
Spades Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 is there going to be a professional photographer at the game this year?
JustMike Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 is there going to be a professional photographer at the game this year? why, are you going to brush your hair and have a shave?
Spades Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 why, are you going to brush your hair and have a shave? Your kidding? If im playing in goal i have to take after Kelvin Davis! If i dont shave from today i 'should' be able to achieve a full beard I just ask because id love to have the moment i save a penalty from you on picture so i can wind you up with it for ever!
JustMike Posted 16 March, 2010 Posted 16 March, 2010 Your kidding? If im playing in goal i have to take after Kelvin Davis! If i dont shave from today i 'should' be able to achieve a full beard I just ask because id love to have the moment i save a penalty from you on picture so i can wind you up with it for ever! no, no, no we both know what will really happen....my penalty would be nowhere near you..or in fact the goal, the scoreboard would be in danger ;-)
JustMike Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 Upped the training gaffer, just completed 2.7 mile run...and i can no longer feel my legs!
OldNick Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 Upped the training gaffer, just completed 2.7 mile run...and i can no longer feel my legs! bloody girly swot. BTW don't worry about feeling your legs, id be saying your goodbyes to them, before my team get their first tackles in
JustMike Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 bloody girly swot. BTW don't worry about feeling your legs, id be saying your goodbyes to them, before my team get their first tackles in haha you can play all the mind games you want, it wont work on me.... ..because i have clearly lost my mind to start bloody running in the 1st place! Im knackered You keep it up Mike, once foxy starts having a few attempts on goal we'll need someone to go and fetch the ball back, i'd bring your trunks as you are at it,as the River itchen is not far away .
dubai_phil Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 Upped the training gaffer, just completed 2.7 mile run...and i can no longer feel my legs! Well of course that is how it should be. A real man should never feel his own legs. That is what Cute Chicks are for
JustMike Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Well of course that is how it should be. A real man should never feel his own legs. That is what Cute Chicks are for Ah yes quite right gaffer. Better go get me a WAG. Can they come to the after-party?
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Ah yes quite right gaffer. Better go get me a WAG. Can they come to the after-party? Yes, but I don't think Quasimodo has a sister and so you'll be coming alone. Although Im not sure if the WAGS are allowed ot the after match thing, perhaps initially.
JustMike Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Yes, but I don't think Quasimodo has a sister and so you'll be coming alone. Although Im not sure if the WAGS are allowed ot the after match thing, perhaps initially. thanks Nick, wouldnt want to steal her away from you

With 65 days to go before the game and allowing a day off every three to avoid training myself out of form I should be able to complete this in time for the big day.

You see I rule with a rod of iron and your little transgretion has now been dealt with. The teams discipline is now back in order, I can sleep peacefully now.
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 thanks Nick, wouldnt want to steal her away from you I will inform MrsH of that comment, boy are you in danger now.

OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Inspirational leadership, Nick. It's certainly motivated me and I am now considering doing as many as two tomorrow! Steady, we are short up front and I can't have my clinical finishers injured....so just take it easy in case one of my good ones does get a strain
RedAndWhite91 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I'm still in bed. How's that for a fitness regime.
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I'm still in bed. How's that for a fitness regime. That's the type of attitude that has aways made my team hard to beat. I do hope you are keeping to the no sex regime I put into place.
JustMike Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I will inform MrsH of that comment, boy are you in danger now. Thats sooo not how i meant it ;-) Sorry Mrs H
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010  Thats sooo not how i meant it ;-) Sorry Mrs H Dont worry Mike, she was born on halloween and you are safe until then.
JustMike Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Dont worry Mike, she was born on halloween and you are safe until then. Think you will be in more trouble if she reads this

We got talking, and it transpired that she was a Witch. She put her hand on my knee & I turned into a lay-by. And if ANY of the Away team fail to keep up to their regime I promise to send more of those. Nick - Beer on Friday?

Sounds good to me,in fact we could get a few of our team together if they fancy meeting up around salisbury Edited 23 March, 2010 by OldNick
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Start you're search at Wellington Sports Ground, you'll find at least 1Good idea, but I think it will be more easy to find in Horton Heath as i suspect that is its main place it hangs out....what an awful thought

She put her hand on my knee & I turned into a lay-by. Go on, tell the rest..... She was a hideous, warty old hag but said that if you could attend to her womanly requirements there and then she would grant you your dearest wish. 'What beat NickH's team on the 27th?' you asked 'You betcher' replied Pompey Lil Well, a few grunts, gasps and the old post coital later you ask the dreadful crone how she would arrange your victory (thinking perhaps some jiggery pokery with disguising your rolling subs). 'Really,' she chuckled 'a man of your age, and you still believe in witches'

Scudamore Posted 26 March, 2010 Posted 26 March, 2010 Probaly just as bidg an occasion though Mike Attendance figures should around 44,000 (divided by 1,000)
Foxy Posted 26 March, 2010 Posted 26 March, 2010 Attendance figures should around 44,000 (divided by 1,000) Oh, I dunno. We had a pretty decent turnout last year (even more so if you count my Missus and the little one who didn't arrive until a minute or so after full time, having got talking to someone)

SaintDonkey Posted 26 March, 2010 Posted 26 March, 2010 Attendance figures should around 44,000 (divided by 1,000) Segregration will mean they'll be 30,000 empty seats
