Several wonderful people on here offered to try and help and you have no idea how much I appreciate that. Then I eventually heard back from the club, so that (maybe) I could do this correctly and legitimately so not upsetting any of my fellow Saints fans....each day I was having to put business/business schedule on hold and each day flights were becoming rarer and waaay more expensive. Eventually, I heard back from the club on Thursday saying 'I could call in some number and go on hold, they have a few tickets left'...FFS, too little - too late. I even had people (like LV Saint) using his ability to secure the cheapest flights. Wanna hear something sick? It will be easier for me to get a ticket from the skates for a replay, they have a system in place for fans attending games from far away!!

Not sure total miles, but it is an effort and a half. Luckily he got some cheap flights so the whole thing is a bit of a bargain. Not bad going for someone who hasn't been to a game this season!

Mate, that was a great night in Santa Monica!! I should have called you. However there was a lot of negative on here about me not deserving a ticket, so that made me determined to do it all above board so that as few Saints fans as possible would have their noses put out of joint...ran out of time basically. I will have no such 'ethical' issue with the JPT as we have never had 35,000 + ever at any game. So to say there are 35,000 more deserving just would not be true.

Tim you should ignore half the fools on here , you should have got a ticket just for all the good work you did with big Ron, anyway make sure you get a ticket for the JPT and if you struggle pm me and you can have one of mine from one of my season tickets ( my daughter is to young for a day out at wembley)all the best . I'm especially disapointed in a certain D Luker for not contacting you given that i'd pm'd him regarding your predicament. Anyways just about to set off. Up the Saints.

Strange thing is that the German press and also Sky Deutschland has articles about the match today!! As soon as the draw was made I had my German colleagues coming into the office and commenting on the match!! COYR

When you consider that I have flown from Australia to study in Sweden (Read: Be able to attend a Southampton match), I think I give the title a fair shake.

I usually hit the A34/43 way but got held up in the traffic in Southampton for well over an hour on the way out, decided to do the more direct route and ended up diverted off the M25 AND the A1. Breeny Posted 16 February, 2010 Posted 16 February, 2010 I know someone who is over from Australia he also saw the Dons game on Tuesday. Yes that's me Breeny . I have just got back to Perth Western Australia....and its bloody hot here after the cold weather there ! Really enjoyed both games but gutted at the 4-1 scoreline which did not do us justice. Would have loved to get back for Wembley as I have not seen Saints play at Wembley since the 76 final.......but time and $$$ !!
