I am totally relaxed and recognise that Pompey could well win. I don't want a draw but would take it.

If Pardew is positive and doesn't tuck in the wide midfielders we have a chance to play well and win. If he is negative, as he was after half time on Tuesday and tucks in the wide men, we will be back to hoofball and will be picked apart.

The beauty of football is that anything could happen. I've been to two great upsets by Saints, beating Man City 5-1 at Maine Road, 3rd div v 1st. Then beating Notts Forest 5-0 at White Hart Lane in a second replay, 2nd div v 1st div. Now wouldn't that be something.

To be honest, I am slightly gutted! They are showing the match live in both Singapore and Hong Kong (I am from Singapore). However, I will be on a plane from Hong Kong to Singapore when the matc is being played! Argghhhh... COYR

all I keep telling myself is if I were on their shoes the last team I'd want to be playing is us. sure they are slight favorites but they have it all to lose we have sod all to fear. play without fear and this game is in the bag boys

Grant will spring surprises.

Finnan rested.

Mullins at RB

great, I hope AP doesn't spring any surprises, we have just the one first team

It's Saturday - 45 minutes to kick off - I have the sofa pulled away from the wall and have dropped cushions and cans down behind there. All phones off. I am mentaly prepared for any result as long as it involves us really giving it a go.

COYS !!

Care to explain the cushions and cans behind the sofa? Is it a barricade or just

a convenient dumping place?

Neither, just a comfy place to be when we go 2 up and do our usual mental switch off and I can't stand to look :smt086

Hopefully though I wont have to go there!

LOL looks like I'm gonna be Billy no mates on here today :(

Wish I was there or at least down the pub

Not the only one on here, but will be in front to the TV in 6 minutes.

Same team as Tuesday except Perry for Fonte.

You would have thought so but you never know with AP he always likes to tinker with the team

Saints haven't lost an FA Cup match vs Pompey.

The last 7 matches between the 2 clubs has been won by the home team.

Saints are un beaten in 8 at home.

Pompey haven't scored in 3 away matches

I am far more nervous than I ever thought I would be. Got the laptop on my lap (duh), pc in the lounge next to me, with the tv card recording the coverage to my pc, and obviously ITV1 on the telly.

Bring it on lads. Do us proud, give them a fight at least.
