New Poopey ticket update - all gone!

Does it really matter when the game sold out? As long as it's sold out who cares if it was 2 weeks before ko or 2 minutes......I suspect that if the boot was on the other foot and Pompey were the team with a 32k stadium in L1 then they would struggle to fill the ground....of course it looks good when you see Pompey fans on the news queing to get a ticket when they've only got 4000 to sell, some of you seem to forget that we have to sell 28k in the same week as a semi final sellout and also half the tickets sold for the Pompey game would have been sold as a tied ticket.

Our support is far superior to pompey's,when they were in our position they were getting crowds of 6k-8k,even in our cup game of 84' the Pompey end was filled with saints fans.

I think we should all be proud of our achievements as fans this week, and for most of the season....it also looks likely that we will have the biggest turnout wembley has ever seen.....all this in a time when money is tight for the majority.

Amazing to have two sell outs in a week, I'd like to know how many tickets in total were sold in the last week or so, with 2 sell outs and linked tickets, it must add upto 80K or more, well done ticket office..now i have to find money for wembley :-)

any news on the 1318 tickets for Norwich?

I would guess that it is what the St Marys capacity is of 32,500 or something like that and I think that the atmosphere is going to be Mental as well ;)!

So that means attendance given as 31,000 ?

MK Dons match = 29,900 ? where was all the empty seats ?

It reminds me of the Dell not an empty seat to be seen and the attendance stated as far less !

Lots of empty seats in corporate for the MK Dons game. Also segregation roped off a large number of seats and there were plenty of empty seats in the actual away section.

The home end (not including corporate) was a sell out for MK Dons.

It will be different at the Pompey game...

Home section SOLD OUT

Away section SOLD OUT

Corporate SOLD OUT

So the only seats to take off the 32k capacity will be those used for segregation.

Terrible, terrible support from us.

It's shocking that this has taken so long to sell out.

People moaning about the linked sale, if you don't wish to attend another home game this season, what kind of a fan are you? Ticket prices, worth every penny for a game like this.

However terrible the Skates support has been this season, they would sell this game out 10x times over.

Are you a fish lover ?

It is quite poor, I know so many people who a week ago where moaning that they wouldn't be able to get a ticket because they wheren't on the system and how it was unfair or too much hassle buying two tickets.

Asked them yesterday if they wanted a ticket as it was just on general sale to STH and none of them got back to me, pretty weak. Probably the same people who will moan about not being able to get a Wembley ticket and then still not bother if the game goes to general sale.

At least it's full up now.

I heard there isn't going to be that much, but 2/3 banks of coppers between us as well?

So its a SELL-OUT we know that...corporate, home fans and away fans.

What about the boxes?? if they are all sold-out i feel the record attendence might be close to being broken!? But there is no word about the boxes so i dont know.

As far as i am aware the record attendence is 32,151 Vs Arsenal...think the game Delgado scored his first goal for the club off his chest, what a player!! ha.

Would be great to get a win and a record attendence...we'll see!

You will know if you are next to a skate he will be the one with a really poxy fake ****ney accent and spits all the time.

Tough as **** they are...........HAHAHA

Docker-p is right they are full of **** and just make up stories which people believe.

Looking at the reaction from some people on here its like the mongul hoards or the piks are coming streaming over the breached defences.

It will a great day witha memorable Saints Victory.

Don’t fall for the usual bullsh*t. They’d “got hold of hundreds of tickets in the home end” the last time we played them in the FA Cup at the Dell. 1,500 mums and dads turned up sitting meekly in the away section with only TCWTB trying frantically to try and rouse them, nothing anywhere else. It’s been the same every time we’ve played them at St Marys ever since. It was bullsh*t.

They were all going to turn up for the last game at the Dell against Brighton and “wreck the party”. No show. They did show up briefly in St Marys Street for that night game a few years back. Very briefly apparently.

Because of our lower ST numbers and no membership scheme these days it’s their best chance of getting tickets but if you end up with a couple of lairy skates nearby just note down the seat numbers as they get ‘escorted’ out and it will ultimately trace back to the buyer. The c*nts responsible can then be dealt with appropriately.

Totally agree, if you see any skates in the home section just report it. At the end of the day you have to feel for them that so few (Or is 4000 nearly a full house for them?) will get to see their last game.......

Only 29,483 last time we played them in the FA Cup in 2005, we didn't sell out so can't judge what effect segregation will have on attendance.

Actually we got more watching Liverpool the week before, and I seem to recall the segregation last time was quite narrow, less than usual because of the police presence and need to maximise the reduced away allocation.
