I've got a feeling it's in that annexe near the bottom of Chancery Lane, not that I've been there.

Make sure you go to the right place.

I've checked the map already.

Incidentally, I did head over when Rupes sued the Mail but didn't get chance to congratulate the great man on his victory ;)

As a Southampton Diplomat i commend your diplomatic tact. On second thoughts leave the scarf in the office and just offer any crying PFC fan congratulations on the news that they are definately in the Championship next season or (maybe) having a little rest in the lower non-leagues for a decade or two...

when alls said and done- 16,000 for a MUSTWIN GAME ..... a game 24 hours before court d-day......when they could all turn up to show how much support there is for pfc....and 1000 were sunderland too......the myth of the "great supporters" well and truly expired last night...................

Well that was fun!

The court agreed that Pompey are and have been trading whilst insolvent. However, Pompey have claimed that they are in a position to pay some debt and submitted new evidence to the court 20 minutes before the hearing.

They also claimed that the £7.4m in VAT that HMRC claim is owed is, in fact, not. They reckon that VAT should not have been charged on player transfers, but as HMRC pointed out, they have collected that money so they either need to pass it to HMRC or hand it pback to the clubs who paid it to them. Either way, they owe that cash and can't pay it but this appeal is ongoing.

They seem to accept that they owe £4.7m in PAYE to HMRC.

There was also a point where the PFC barrister claimed that the FA have provided significant sums to allow them to pay debts! Not sure what that was about.

But enough of the boring stuff. Today I got to share a room with Marc Jacobs and Peter Ridsdale, as well as that Alex bloke from Channel4 news and various other journos. Happy days.

I don't think I made it onto SSN though :(

Can you imagine any other business making this argument stick? truly mind-boggling.
