Channon's Sideburns Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 You can pick me up on the way then... Would be good if you could be there Alps... What a journey from 12mths ago.
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Great evening - aside from the Swindon result looks like the other scores are reasonably good for us too: Bristol Rovers lost and Huddersfield only drew 0-0.
Joesaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Poopy only got just over 16,000 and wonder how many were away fans?
suewhistle Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 You can pick me up on the way then... I go the Mt Blanc or St Bernard route: I'm guessing you're nearer the Brennero? Besides we'd only argue!:-)
sperm_john Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 wembley, wembley, wembley, wembley.... la la la, la la la, la la la, la la laaa, la la laaa, na na na, la la la .....and again, wembleeeey, wembleeeeey
bugenhagen Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Fantastic! Hope I can get over to be there!
ericofarabia Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Tears of joy, tears of regret that I won't be going to Wembley, and hoping I can find a bar in Tignes that will be showing it. Just under 30000 at SMS (due to only 441 MK fans ) meaning anything higher was not possible. A crucial crucial game at Skate Park just over 16000 including what looked like at least 1500 if not more away fans Shame they got an equaliser against 9 men
MulletMan Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Would it really be a problem to get a ticket? Will a JPT game fill a 90 000 capacity stadium?
Fan The Flames Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Congratulations Saints & Mr Liebherr, first of many we hope. Should be a great day out.
alpine_saint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I go the Mt Blanc or St Bernard route: I'm guessing you're nearer the Brennero? Besides we'd only argue!:-) Even further East actually - Dreilandereck. Dont worry, I was only joking anyway...
Ponty Posted 9 February, 2010 Author Posted 9 February, 2010 Pompey had to do a general sale to get rid of FA cup tickets, so probably not.
dune Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 everyone who wants a ticket will get one, Wembley holds 90k, we will get 40k minimum and probably more. It'd be amazing if we take 60,000 and it's likely we'l get that many as Carlise won't take more than 30,000.
Shroppie Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Anyone notice we played the 3-1 team. And we won 3-1. Strange coincidence or what?
dronskisaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Lump in throat...I'm just remembering last summer! This season still promises so much! Markus Liebherr, Nicola Cortese, Alan Pardew....Super Saints - Thank you!!!!!
Delmary Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I will sleep with anyone for a ticket... Ooh, you are awful ... but I like you!
suewhistle Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Even further East actually - Dreilandereck. Dont worry, I was only joking anyway... Actually, there wouldn't be any arguments. It would be my choice of CDs or nothing.;-)
ericofarabia Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 LOL at Andy Awford on "Saints Player" ie Solent saying the crowd came out in their numbers to support the team tonight at Fratton Park ........ ha ha ha barely 15000 of them. ****.
Avenue Saint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Anyone notice we played the 3-1 team. And we won 3-1. Strange coincidence or what? always said lambert and papa would go well n today for first time in a little while lambert seemed dynamic. if pardew changes this team without reason to accomodate likes of james, otsem or even seaborne, would be very sad. this midfield got something going for it 2. jaid n fonte first game together, mk dons r form team in league. won last 7 or so. give them another couple of games n they will be seriously good. up the saints
Joesaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 LOL at Andy Awford on "Saints Player" ie Solent saying the crowd came out in their numbers to support the team tonight at Fratton Park ........ ha ha ha barely 15000 of them. ****. He always says that know matter what crowd they get, muppet ha ha:p
dubai_phil Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Sometimes Time Zones are really annoying..... It's fecking 2AM here and I'm still bouncing around the room like a looney. No chance of any ZZZZ's for a while yet. Eric cut that nonsense out - Suewhistle can pick you up on the way - you'll be there & back in a day
trousers Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Ooh, you are awful ... but I like you! Lol @ D i c k Emery falling foul of the swear filter :-)
BarnetSaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 They are a pitiful little outfit and their meagure support has been well and truly exposed.
hutch Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I will sleep with anyone for a ticket... I heard TCWTB's got one spare!
miltonroad Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Oh deep joy!!!! Get in there! We're the famous Southampton and we're going to Wemberleeee!!!!
LVSaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Would it really be a problem to get a ticket? Will a JPT game fill a 90 000 capacity stadium? I hope you're right but won't 1/3 of the ground go for hospitality off the bat? Also willing to sleep with anyone for a ticket or two.
RAF Saint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Those who went to the away leg will get there chance along with the guys who bought the home tickets i assume? Anyone able to clarify?
John McAndrew Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 just got in from the game....COME ON YOU REDS...little bit of the boil at times but done the job and booked us a place....northam looked great from the chapel...lets fo ****ing mental
Glossaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I've just been on the Johnson's Paint site - there's a comp to win some there http://www.johnstonespainttrophy.com/
Channon's Sideburns Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I hope you're right but won't 1/3 of the ground go for hospitality off the bat? Also willing to sleep with anyone for a ticket or two. Careful with that kind of talk. You may get chased by Avram.
pilsburydoughboy Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 That will put some gloss on the occasion

ericofarabia Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I will sleep with anyone for a ticket... Offer someone a complete carte blanche free reins with no infractions day on all the boards .... simples, or maybe you were hoping for a c ock up the arse as a bonus
Liquidshokk Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Pics here: http://www.sportbox.tv/photos/imagepopup.php?team_id=22&sport_id=1 Love the one of Lallana breezing through two MK Dons players!
EBS1980 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I hope you're right but won't 1/3 of the ground go for hospitality off the bat? Also willing to sleep with anyone for a ticket or two. Think it's a little different for the JPT as it's billed as a family geared competition, which is why most games ko at 7 and there is no extra time. Hopefully we will get about 40,000 tickets so shouldn't be too much of a problem for most.
ericofarabia Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Sometimes Time Zones are really annoying..... It's fecking 2AM here and I'm still bouncing around the room like a looney. No chance of any ZZZZ's for a while yet. Eric cut that nonsense out - Suewhistle can pick you up on the way - you'll be there & back in a day Luckily no work till 1300 tomorrow for me. Up since 0430 today ... 5 pints of OLd Specky ... sleep should occur the moment my head hits the pillow ..... it's just building up the courage to log off the computer
steve chill Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I hope you're right but won't 1/3 of the ground go for hospitality off the bat? Also willing to sleep with anyone for a ticket or two. I can't imagine that there will be a corporate stampede for the JPT.
LVSaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Careful with that kind of talk. You may get chased by Avram. I'm willing to make any sacrifice...
Asaint4ever Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Hotel booked! ticket sorted! happy days coys
brightspark Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Avram Grant thinks that the referees have an agenda against Portsmouth. Hope he's right!!! Great result today, lets not make too many changes if we can for the rest of the season and with Carlisle in the final, surely we have around a 75% chance of lifting this thing!!! COYR
ericofarabia Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Careful with that kind of talk. You may get chased by Avram. Hopefully him and his whole team will get a right screwing on saturday
EBS1980 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Just had a quick search on google, Luton sold 37,500 tickets for the final last year but there was only 55,000 there. Hopefully Saints can show them how it's done and fill the place :-)
LVSaint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Think it's a little different for the JPT as it's billed as a family geared competition, which is why most games ko at 7 and there is no extra time. funkymojo44 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 fantastic result!! Should getting a ticket really be a problem though? Should be enough room for plenty of saints fans. I think we need a dedicated thread/sticky on final tickets and advice on how to get them etc.
Red And White Barmy Army Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 It might sound daft but could we make history here? - most fans of 1 team ever inside an all-seater english football stadium. If carlisle only sell 10,000, corporate 5,000 = 75,000 saints fans. Unlikely but you never know...
TBone-Tone Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 fantastic result!! Should getting a ticket really be a problem though? Should be enough room for plenty of saints fans. I think we need a dedicated thread/sticky on final tickets and advice on how to get them etc. I reckon on a 50K for Saints fans, and then Carlisle will get as many as they need .... probably 25K.
trousers Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I will sleep with anyone for a ticket... How could you resist such 'come hither' eyes....?
