THERESE'S BOY Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Dear All My mate will be in Edinburgh on Saturday and would like to watch the game perhaps in the company of other exiled Saints Fans. Given that my particular pub of choice (The Polton Inn in Lasswade), is a bit remote for him, Can anyone recommend a good place. Cheers
Glasgow_Saint Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I will be watching it at home as don’t get many Saints fans up in these parts! Plus its on ITV and Scotland has STV so wont be on normal channel 3. (Sky 993) Doubt any pub north of Portsmouth will be showing it!

badgerx16 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I'm in London all day, something to do with the Friday being my wife's birthday, and the Sunday being Valentine's day, and for some reason she thinks that merits doing 'something special' I'm sure there'll be a pub on Oxford Street I can nip into while she's maxing out the CC.
bungle Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I'm stuck in Bristol with a couple of saints fans if anyone fancies meeting up to watch it? All the fans I know in Bristol are going to SMS.

My wife working and can't get childcare for my son so can't escape till it's too late to get down for the game, not happy about it but my 2 yr old bit young to look after himself unfortunately.

He'll be fine for a few hours...just give him a swiss army knife to play with and he'll be happy as Larry...
Bren Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 (edited) The LINKS bar at Bruntsfield Links will almost certain have it showing. Go there for most Saints games, good place to watch the footy. Had to ask them to put the Mk Dons game on one of tv's the other week as Andy Murray was on the main screens, but they're always cool about it. I would join him but managed to get a ticket and flight down on the Saturday morning. Could also try The Standing Order on George Street (cheap) or Sportsters down on Market Street right by the train station. Edited 9 February, 2010 by Bren Wrong quote!

I will suggest this to my wife before the tickets go on general sale tomorrow! I may also suggest letting him play with the blender just to make sure he doesn't get bored
SaintNick89 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 I'm stuck in Bristol with a couple of saints fans if anyone fancies meeting up to watch it? Load of us all traveling down to St Marys from Bristol...train from temple meads was only £3 each way when we booked last week
