saintsforlife7 Posted 8 February, 2010 Posted 8 February, 2010 Good performance from a youthful side. Oxlade-Chamberlain particularly impressing, along with Martin and Raacine very strong. Pulis tbf did some quite nice stuff and I do not know why he came off. Good finish from McNish for the first, and White two poachers efforts at the end.

Evil Monkey Posted 8 February, 2010 Posted 8 February, 2010 I saw that Oxlade-Chamberlain was missing from the youth team on Saturday because he's been training with the first team squad. Great news. If he cuts the mustard, I shall get his name on the back of my shirt.
trousers Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Pulis tbf did some quite nice stuff and I do not know why he came off. I believe he gets an appearance bonus if he completes more than 5 games in his first 3 years at the club
Andy_Porter Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 How did Ben Reeves play at left back? Glad to see he's getting a game ahead of Molyneux. Reeves was class pre season looked like he had serious potential.
markr27 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Great news. If he cuts the mustard, I shall get his name on the back of my shirt. Go for it! He was wearing shorts with No.41 on during the Exeter warmup
jasonbenali Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Great news. If he cuts the mustard, I shall get his name on the back of my shirt. Talk about throwing your wealth around, you do pay per letter!
hutch Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Great news. If he cuts the mustard, I shall get his name on the back of my shirt. Unless you're more than 20st, it'll probably go all the way round.
a1ex2001 Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Talk about throwing your wealth around, you do pay per letter! Not online you don't, it's a fixed 12 quid!
Ken Tone Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Great news. If he cuts the mustard, I shall get his name on the back of my shirt. You'll need a long -sleeved one to get oxlade-chamberlain on ! K.
saintsub Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Mark Chamberlain son isn't he Yes he is 'Chambo's' son - I spoke to him the other day about him (top bloke) and the lad is showing a huge amount of promise for the future - definetely one to watch closely.
SFC Forever Posted 9 February, 2010 Posted 9 February, 2010 Martin and Racine are getting time playing together and have started to get rave notices from two ir three boards. Yet with the number of games available to our players if they aren't in the first team starting line-up how will the rest stay fit? Are these two going to be fighting for a place on the bench in the near future?
NickG Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 sounds like Oxlade-Chamberlain did well again http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ReservesNews/0,,10280~1976299,00.html
SFC Forever Posted 24 February, 2010 Posted 24 February, 2010 Aaron Martin made captain for the match I see. He seems to be doing well since arriving from Eastleigh.
saintsforlife7 Posted 25 February, 2010 Author Posted 25 February, 2010 Aaron Martin made captain for the match I see. He seems to be doing well since arriving from Eastleigh. Very, very vocal at the back, leads well and dominates in the air! Chambo is a little livewire, last night tried to shoot on occasions when a pass was on but always direct and looking to beat his man. Also thought Preen was excellent on the left, his pace is unreal!

Nice to get a win, but the OS says the score was 2-1 ?.. This was the same match - wasn't it ?
NickG Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 no, added to last one talking about Oxlade...
Window Cleaner Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 3-0 ..? Nice to get a win, but the OS says the score was 2-1 ?.. This was the same match - wasn't it ? nope, it was an old thread, how do I know? because Racine was suspended for one match...last night's , or I think he was anyway.
The9 Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 Go for it! He was wearing shorts with No.41 on during the Exeter warmup Is THAT who it was ? I know Reeves has 44 allocated to him as of preseason but we haven't actually listed anyone between Otsemobor (40) and Reeves' number anywhere official.
Katalinic Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 If the play offs become a mathematical impossibility it would be good to see some of the youngsters given a first team run out for a few games at the end of the season.
Rory Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 Can anyone possibly tell me what has happened to that young lad Jamie Hatch? He was a promising right-back a couple of years ago but I don't read his name on here often.

What for ? they won't be in the first team next season anyway, with the exception of Oxlade-Chamberlain perhaps.
Katalinic Posted 25 February, 2010 Posted 25 February, 2010 What for ? they won't be in the first team next season anyway, with the exception of Oxlade-Chamberlain perhaps. I wish I had a crystal ball. Simply to give the youngsters a taste of first team action, experience, mixing with the first team to see how they prepare etc. Obvious things really.

He appears to have signed a sort term contract for a non league club in the west country having ben released by us.
