It is going to kick off big time. Saints fans are mostly going for the banter, but Pompey are going to be looking to take it a fair way further than that.

Boo-hooo I'm bricking it...them horrible pikey types coming to SMS!

Get a life - trouble will be pre-arranged well away from the ground, any trouble around the ground will be dealt with there and then.

Mass brawls I doubt but the odd 5-on-5 will occur all over the City.

OB can't be everywhere!

Remember they are all cowards - so individuals will get picked on. Groups of people in jovial mood often receive attention but rarely does it come down to anything unless you respond. WE all have phones with cameras - you ain't all going to get thumped at the same time - take you own videos...justice is sweet.

just been looking on poopey forum , seems tickets for sale in with the saints fans £150 the pair , how many more are going to be scattered around in the ground .Saints fans cashing in on their tickets , just as bad as those skates

Yeah well all I saw was this poster thing, saying how many arrests there was when we last met. It didn't say how many on each side. No one has ever told me the tale of the great battle of Fratton in detail so how should I know... Was only repeating what I saw!

It was all over the place down here, in skatesmouth.

3 older lads I know, recieved life time bans and 1 of them has had his passport taken off him for the world cup.

Best thing is, he's a leicester fan and got nicked at our game in skatesmouth.

Hi

Ive just been informed by mate who is a police officer that intel says that Millwall fans will be travelling down for the match and are making high tension threats. He said they are coming down 'to be with pompey' which ive asked for clarification on... Im guessing to back up the pompey fans in any trouble that arises....

Police advice is to stay away from pubs in the local area that day and they say that every policeman and his dog will be there....

Stay alert people ;)

Strangely enough, I was in my local pub last night and a chap was drinking with (a not very close drinks in the same pub as me) friend of mine. This chap turned out to be a police officer, who enjoys working football matches and regularly does the Aldershot games (were north hants area). He was gutted that he was surplus to requirements for the Saints v Skates as he really wanted to go along...

What he then said caught my attention, as he said pretty much exactly the same thing as your OB friend. Along the lines of ''we get intell before matches, we have heard that a load of millwall fans will be going down to cause trouble''

This chap is a devout west ham fan, so I doubt he read/found his intell on here, although its possible he may have read it on a west ham forum i suppose! I have no reason to suspect it was anything other than a genuine comment though.

All in all it matches up with your story, very coincidental!

Despite all this, I still cant see anything happening!

Thugs from different clubs are known to 'talk', even drink together occasionally, but to say "Millwall will turn up" is probably exagerating it a bit. Millwall has loads of smaller mobs, always has done, (but one big scary one when they all come together!) so the chances are a handful of young Millwall thugs may fancy seeing what it's like.

Apparantly the skates don't "rate" us, funny then if true that they feel they need some ****neys and, if other reports on here are true, Brizzol City top boys to bolster their ranks to front Southampton.

I really hope it doesn't ruin the day.

Not everyone thinks their danny dyer and wants a ruck to prove that their double hard!

Keep it away from the ground and surrounding areas, you wanna fight go fight down near the cop shop if your really that hard

I've got a horrible feeling it's going to kick off big time on Saturday.

As someone else said, the knuckle draggers may not have a club to support in a week of so, add to that they're the prem league side but are feeling abused/victimised by everyone and feck are they angry about their financial problems.

Nothing to lose (apart from the game lol)

That would be a good idea wouldn't it and struggling to understand how that would make them "hard".

Anyways, if anyone really wants their doors coming off the hinges for an early morning alarm call over the next few months carry on - CCTV everywhere.

Just go to the ground on Saturday, if you see any 'iffy' types mobbing up walk the other way. Enjoy the game, go straight home afterwards. You wont have a problem.

Right to put an end to this thread with some answers from the police.

They do have intel on both Millwall and Pompey and PFC gettting off at Woolston but neither is going to happen.

So go to the game, have a good one and stay clear if you do see trouble. That way you wont get involved. Easy isnt it
