Could any of you wonderful It people help me out. I am trying to get my son's X box, i pod, my i pod and our Wii to work off the same wireless router with no luck at all. It is a netgear router and if you could help it would be FANTASTIC. Thanks.

No laptop, cannot get X box to pick up wireless internet at all and i pods do work within house but poorly at times. The wii is not picking up wirless router either

DG834Gv5 Wireless Router. It finds the router but asks for an address I believe. sorry I didn't expect somebody to come back to me so quickly, I am at work and can put all details on here tomorrow. Thanks ever so much

WEP or WPA key perhaps?

firmware upgarde on the netgear router has sorted this out a couple of times for friends also change the channel selction from automatic to say channle 6.

I have put in wep code on x box and still not working stating is dhcp enabled and is my router finding mac address of 002248d33995 where do I find these?

on machine attached to the router (wired or wireless)

 

do the following-

 

Click- Start, then in the run box type in cmd in the box that pops up, type in ipconfig and make note of your default gateway.

 

Then come back to me and we will go to the next step.

 

also, are you southampton based at all?
