a big week ahead, two massive games hardly seems possible after the mess we were in 12 months ago.

the city is buzzing, fans are coming back, the home games are mostly enjoyable the away ones are winable.

personally i am really up for the next 6 days, beating the skates when we are 2 divisions below them will get near to 84

it's not on TV - they chose the leeds v carlisle one, as there is a potential for a big upset there.

 

we're on tv on Saturday btw? ITV...12:30.

Glasgow Saint the skate game is on tv,thats one of the reasons its being played at 12.30.

70s Mike i think you have summed up exactly how im feeling.I cant wait for both games and i am keeping everything crossed ,hoping we will win them both.

On MK forum there is a thread called 'dirty saints'. They hate us! However, one line of interest in the OP is something like "... lets get a thousand down there and lets get right behind them..." Good luck with that.

 

Another thread says 300 tickets have been sold by them so far, and the OP expects it to rise to 450 on the night.

 

That is absolutely pathetic on their part. We took 3000 to their place midweek, and they bring that shoddy excuse for an away support.

Yep, there is a lot to be happy about but you wouldn't think so if you read some other threads here!!!!

 

i belive the cup runs have bought AP time , the money is rolling in and he is building a squad to win this division next season.

teams take time to blend at all levels, always have done and the younger fans or non players fail to recognize that fact.

the 3000 of us at Fratton in the relegation season have waited a long time for revenge lets hope the PA system blares out Saints songs leading up to kick off just like the skates did at Fratton.

Just seen sky channel 993 is ITV London so should be ok

 

You can program your Sky box to pick up any ITV channel through "other channels". Always watch good ole Fred Dineage in the evenings.

You can retune you sky box so that Meridian is listed on "Services" -> "Other Channels".

 

I set mine ages ago but cant remember how to do it. I'm sure if you did a quick search, you'd be able to find out how to do it.

If the results go right and they act as a catalyst for the league performances as some seem to believe, I'll agree, plenty to be happy about.

Just a quick question. If the worse happened and the Skates beat us, but were wound up over the coming weeks. Would we be reinstated into the cup for the next round?

 

It's my understanding that we would take their place in the next round.

looking forward to the game, but it would be bizarre that the biggest and first winners from them being wound up was us!

For the x-zillionth time, even if they get wound up this week they will appeal and will only wind up when that appeal is rejected. Happened to Kings Lynn FC in November, took 3 weeks after the winding up petition was accepted for the appeal to be thrown out.

 

And if they knock us out then go bust we'll remain knocked out and the 6th round draw will have a bye. Or more accurately it'll have "Portsmouth" who will fail to fulfil the fixture, leading to a walkover.
