Well i'm bloody excited about that fact.

 

Would be great to see swathes of Saints fans travelling up there.

 

JPT or not, it is still a massive day.

 

We can beat MK Dons,can't we?

 

I was so proud that day at the Millenium Stadium,i really want the chance to emulate that feeling and atmosphere.

 

Let's be positive.

I wholeheartedly concur my friend; when was the last time we had anything like this to get excited about? This could be a big week for us, so yes indeed, let's be positive and enjoy life rather than looking for the dark clouds on a sunny day. Life is too short.

JPT or not - wembley is a great day out and it will be fantastic when (;)) we make it.

 

It's still going to be tricky though - MK Dons come into this game with nothing to lose, so expect them to attack for fun - we'll have to be at our best at the back (i expect harding and Jaidi will be back?)

 

looking forward to it though - will be good to see a near on full house for a mid-week game!

I 100% agree with that there saint lard Mate as I think that we will beat MK Dons n get to Wembley and we will do it if we play Harding and Jaidi/Perry with Fonte I think we will be Fine but we will see ;)!

I've forgone 6 weeks in India with work and the trappings that go with it for the sole reason that I would have had to have flown out the day before the JPT final.

 

We'd better bl@@dy get there now!!!

It's not just the chances of 'lifting a cup' though is it.

 

The day out,the build up,the atmosphere and all that goes with it,imo.

Away goals do not count double. A 2-1 or 3-2 win for Mk Dons would take it to penalties. I think we'll win this one 3-0. Expect Lallana to get on the score sheet

I had planned on attending this game, but since then we drew Pompey in the cup and i can't afford to travel to this game aswell.

How is it naff?

 

It may be naff for a Prem side, but we are competing with equals. If we were to win this competition, we'd have beaten Norwich, Charlton, Dons and possibly Leeds along the way. Not to mention Torquay.

Teams dont take the JPT cup seriously - we do ( I question why )

 

Luton are the holders and they were relegated from L2 last season.

 

We mocked the skates for celebrating the Asia trophy - JPT is equally pointless.

Because it is silverware, something we have been starved of for so long. It is also a trip to Wembley, and the players see it means a lot to the fans, for this reason.

 

Luton had a massive points deduction, they still did well to get to Wembley and enjoy their day out in an otherwise horrible season.

 

JPT isn't pointless, we are League One now, and the whole point of this cup is to let these lower league teams, ourselves included, have a day out at Wembley and lift a cup, cos let's face it, no team from L1 or L2 is going to win a major cup anytime soon.

What ******. Leeds are not taking it seriously are they? Norwich were all smiles when they lost the penalty shoot out.

 

It would be a great day for everyone at the club.

Big game in regard to knock on effect for saturday, getting to wembley will set us up so well, dare I mention it but if we go out on tuesday then I think our season could be over as our heads could be down, christ hope not, as no chance of play offs

This may well turn out to be the most exciting week of the season, it may ed in disappoiuntmenbt, but until it does I am lapping it up.

 

Three days of Cup Fever, followed by 4 days of Cup Fever. Can't be bad by my reckoning. And who knows, this time next weel we may be wetting ourselves at 'the week that was'.

 

In years to come we will be able to say to our Grandkids and Great-Grandkids those three immortal words.

Am really looking forward to JPT

 

Leave all the skate hate at home & positivly sing our hearts out to get the team to wembley with a good result

 

Then lets all go home take shed loads of throat medicine to get our voices back for sat morning then rest our voices after sat night

I get a feeling that a lot of people think we are there already. The 90 minutes will not be easy.

 

Not me mate...it will be a tough,tough game.

 

I reckon we could be a bit nervous so an early goal for us is needed

to settle us down.

In the grand scheme of things, yesterdays underachievement is more important.

 

You can't change what happened yesterday.

Yes i am disappointed with not getting a win but we don't have a god given right to steamroller everyone just because we have spent money.

 

I for one am enjoying all things SFC at the moment,considering where we have been recently i will lap it up for now.

 

Come next season however i will expect great things from AP and the squad he is assembling,but for now i will take whatever comes our way.

 

And if that is a trip to Wembley and all that comes with it that will more than suffice....for now.

I won't sniff at this trophy, i just want to see Saints lift a trophy at Wembley! We wont think about what trophy it is on the day ( if we get there ), we will be to busy enjoying the day. I am so excited about the next two games, its a long long time since i've been this excited about Saints.
