Liquidshokk Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 Hi This might be a stupid question but I have tickets for the pompey game with seats in block 5 row W and was wondering if W is right at the back or does it go A-Z then AA-ZZ as you go past half way back? Just wondering how far back we'll be. Eyesights not the best. :smt119
Clapham Saint Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 It goes A to Z and then starts at AA. Not sure what the final row is but I would have thought W is a little over half way up as it probably goes to around about PPish.
Matthew Le God Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 (edited) The back row varies from block to block. Edited 5 February, 2010 by Matthew Le God
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 (edited) If you're used to sitting near the back, row w is going to seem quite low. I think it goes up to MM so that would make you nearly two thirds up. Edited 5 February, 2010 by for_heaven's_Saint misread op
ohwhenthesaints Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 I sit in row W. As Clapham said, it's a few rows above halfway and it has a decent view. You should be fine there.
Matthew Le God Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 As long as you are in a central block in the Itchen or Kingsland, sitting towards the back gives the best view of the match.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 I sit in row W and I think it's close to perfection in terms of viewing angle etc.
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 My missus is blind as a bat, so I'll be sitting in row A in the Kingsland. I was amazed to find out that there is no row A in the Itchin though, anyone know why?
Townhillsaintsfan Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 KK is the back row. My season ticket is in JJ and there is only one row behind me in the Kingsland. im in the kingsland in row MM and row NN for the leeds league game in march so it goes back a little further

Matthew Le God Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 im in the kingsland in row MM and row NN for the leeds league game in march so it goes back a little further I forgot things like the TV gantry means some blocks in the Kingland have less rows than others.
jawillwill Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 Isn't row W the one where all the Pompey fans sit?
negium Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 my season ticket in the kingsland is row nn and there is one row behind me befor you hit the persoex. as suck row OO is the furthest back you can go
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 It's underground. Boy it'd suck to not know the stadium and get a season ticket for row A in the Itchin...
Liquidshokk Posted 5 February, 2010 Author Posted 5 February, 2010 Cheers all. Should be ok then. Saint fan Cam and ohwhenthesaints, I'll try and remember to say hi :-)
Saint_Jonny Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 ive got a **** seat as far a view of the game is concerned, block 3 row O... ganna be cack! Ill spend most of my time being a little chav toward the skates though so its all good.
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 I sit in row W and I think it's close to perfection in terms of viewing angle etc. I concur, I sit in Row W on the halfway line in the Kingsland and I would go so far as to say it is one of the top seats in the ground.
saints_is_the_south Posted 5 February, 2010 Posted 5 February, 2010 Block 42 Row GG Seat 1073 is the best seat in the house Unfortunately it will be covered in segregation netting for the skates game, better than 1 of them sitting in it i spose!

(W******d you ****ychops) Tbf I don't think I've ever sat in it all the time I've had it as my ST seat! The skate fumes coming from it wouldn't be pleasant though!
