Matthew Le God Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Absolutely but one question why no Harding? Because Mills has done little wrong. He did have a poor first half against Stockport but was better in the second half.
Thedelldays Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 strange tbh, although mills has come in and has done a decent job - would be harsh to just drop him. if harding is a better player....no it would not
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 strange tbh, although mills has come in and has done a decent job - would be harsh to just drop him. Mills was pretty poor against Stockport imo
verlaine1979 Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Swap Puncheon and Lallana and you've got a deal. Team is.... Davis Otsemobor Fonte Seaborne Mills James Schneiderlin Puncheon Waigo Lallana Lambert
doddisalegend Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Here we go. I knew if I posted that last one I would get a response and I was corresct. C B Fry why on earth you would want an ex Pompey player as your name I don't know. Though I can hazard a good guess. At no time did I say that we didn't have a chance. TDD made a statement and I have to say that I gave one example of why I don't take that as gospel. You in your Pompey Blue have to have a go because I am a wet. congratulations. You know me so well yet we have never met. You are a mouthy abnoxious lttle toad but I don't want to go around telling everybody. You seem to be under the impression that we only have to step on the pitch and we will win. Wrong. We have failed to beat Stockport at theirs and they are bottom. We have failed to win when it should have been a doddle. I don't really care this season because we are so much better than last. Even though a league below. Now I am quite prepared to shout the boys home and even when losing still enjoy cheering them on. I do not like people who seem to feel everything they and their cronies say is fact according to the bible. So if you have nothing better to do maybe you should return your good name to the blue half of Hampshire. Well said that man
revolution saint Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Did you not watch the JPT game against MK Dons this season? Puncheon played in the centre of midfield. Ah the game they lost? Yes i did see it. I saw no reason why he should play in the centre of midfield. I respect your right to an opinion but I think it's wrong.
Saint_Jimbo83 Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Team is.... Davis Otsemobor Fonte Seaborne Mills James Schneiderlin Puncheon Waigo Lallana Lambert Where is Harding??????????? I'm not too sure about Mills!
Matthew Le God Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Swap Puncheon and Lallana and you've got a deal. Why swap them? Puncheon played very well against Saints playing in the centre.
Thedelldays Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Ah the game they lost? Yes i did see it. I saw no reason why he should play in the centre of midfield. I respect your right to an opinion but I think it's wrong. they lost...puncheon played in the middle...ffs, puncheon OUT
Matthew Le God Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 (edited) Ah the game they lost? Yes i did see it. I saw no reason why he should play in the centre of midfield. I respect your right to an opinion but I think it's wrong. He played very well in the centre against Saints. Which is where he has played a lot for MK Dons. Why does it matter if they lost the game? How is that at all relevant to where Puncheon should play? Edited 6 February, 2010 by Matthew Le God
Secret Site Agent Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Come on Saints Woohoo Goals from Barney and Punchie please Plus a brace from Lambo
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Come on Saints Woohoo Goals from Barney and Punchie please Plus a brace from Lambo ???
beatlesaint Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Subs bench details...anyone? I would expect it to be very strong.....pity the OS haven't got it yet !!
verlaine1979 Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Because he's left-footed, happy playing as a winger, and because Lallana seems most effective playing in an advanced central position to me... Why swap them? Puncheon played very well against Saints playing in the centre.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Swap Puncheon and Lallana and you've got a deal. that is a good looking side, wish I was at Exeter to see it.

SuperSAINT Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Team is.... Davis Otsemobor Fonte Seaborne Mills James Schneiderlin Puncheon Waigo Lallana Lambert On paper, that team should be able to be able to dictate play better than any other XI we've picked this season.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 On paper, that team should be able to be able to dictate play better than any other XI we've picked this season. Let`s hope they can do it on the grass then:D
dune Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Swindon V Charlton Millwall v Norwich We need to win and we need Charlton and Norwich to do us a favour.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Jesus , if we can't beat Exeter with that team out then we may as well go and sit in a dark corner and never come out again!!! Agreed, that's why I've got us 3-1!
Legod Third Coming Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 strange tbh, although mills has come in and has done a decent job - would be harsh to just drop him. Mills has been as good as Harding, just not as flash. So why drop him?
Iowsaintsfan Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 hope harding is back for midweek and pompey, he gets under other teams skin!
SuperSAINT Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 (edited) The bench is incredibly strong today, too. Bart, Harding, Thomas, Wotton, Holmes, Antonio, Barnard. Proves how strong we are when Jaidi / Perry aren't even included & Connolly / Hammond are injured! Our squad has some serious depth. Edited 6 February, 2010 by SuperSAINT
Dr Who? Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Swindon V Charlton Millwall v Norwich We need to win and we need Charlton and Norwich to do us a favour. We just need to keep winning, and start winning against teams in the top 8... which we have only done once this season!
dune Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 We just need to keep winning, and start winning against teams in the top 8... which we have only done once this season! There's currently a 13 point gap between us and Millwall, we have a game in hand. If we win today and they lose we are potentially 7 points from the top 6. I agree we need to do the business, but i feel we need the clubs in the zone we are aiming for to have a bad run.
dannysfc Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 hope harding is back for midweek and pompey, he gets under other teams skin! Yeh and I think that he will be back for them games as we need him for them IMO because otherwise I think that we will more than likely lose both but we will see ! Fish Mills should be dropped anyway as well Tbh as I still don't rate him as I would still play Harding over him any day but I'm not AP am I!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Mills has been as good as Harding, just not as flash. So why drop him? Not in million years is or has he been as good as Harding imo Harding for me has be top notch all season... Mills to lightweight for a full back, knocked of the ball to easy, not his fault though, that he is a little un`
oxfordshire_saint Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Mills has been as good as Harding, just not as flash. So why drop him? Has an extra yard of pace too. Only criticism would be that he lacks a bit physically compared to Harding. Nice dilema to have, two decent players battling for a position!
Toadhall Saint Posted 6 February, 2010 Posted 6 February, 2010 Team is.... Davis Otsemobor Fonte Seaborne Mills James Schneiderlin Puncheon Waigo Lallana Lambert Looks good. 451 or 433 that'll do. The only worry I have is that James could be forced out wide as Papa doesn't cover back as well as Antonio.
