I'd like to request next week between Tuesday and Friday (inclusive) for trials and training. Should be free any time, appart from the JPT game assuming I get a ticket. Not down on the South Coast as often as I'd like to be.

Is there any footage out there of the Bouremouth game? I heard there was once but never saw my wondful strikes.

 

I still haven't come through with the DVD, I know... :o I have still got a copy and it's to hand now too...

I dont recall its use but apparently it is a weapon

i heard a rumour about a certain 5 a side performance. Back playing again then 9? Knee ok then?

 

Three five a sides and still not quite got my left side coordination back, think the muscle memory has gone from a combination of the knee op and not using it much since November. It's weird, amazing how much you take the natural movement for granted, I basically have to retrain it. Right foot is still deadly of course ;)

I probably wouldn't be able to make trials being up North but well up for travelling for a game if you want me - I played a bit of semi-pro football last year but only for an u18 team (got to play a Cobham which is Chelsea's youth team ground - was incredible), if you'd like me then I can probably travel down as long as it's a weekend (I guess Saturdays would be best...) but if you've got another keeper who'll come along to trials then he probably deserves his place!!

I do already play 5 a side on mondays, wednesdays, thursdays and sundays but depending on times could make trial?

Verified, Minty for left wing corners, especially if there's an overhanging tree.

 

s4int sounds like decent keeper... Will be nice if trials are on the Common as last time I was commuting to "training" from South Wales, and I've moved a lot nearer now!

 

Bu66ered if it's Sunday, Tues or Weds this week though...

Well, I know POTS mostly plays central midfield, much as he's claiming to be a striker... Have seen oxfordshiresaint at CB too. I'm sure there are plenty of others who might be interested though as we've had the Forum match AND an Internet FC team before. You have to keep your options open with this, some won't make trials, some won't be able to make the day.

You are probably going to be the worst manager of all time :( He has always played in CM!

When are you back from injury anyway? or are you doing an early retirement so that you don't require leg amputation later in life?

He never played CM for Santos. Coates and Ridge did....

 

I dont know. Would have been earlier had i not fallen over running/walking the line just before Xmas! LOLz. I intend on returning. Normally 12months after op to get playing again. So maybe August

I have finally given in and paid my £5... F*ck you Steve Grant and Barrie Jarman...damn you both to hell.

Anyway, yes you are quite correct. I forgot somehow. He has always played CM for Southampton IFC at worldnet and other matches etc etc etc.

and a general for practice / trials...Prefer weekends to be honest...but whatever, as long as it's in the evenings after 7 :)

The usual venue of Bodington Hall in Leeds; July 23-25th this year, safely after the World Cup has finished :)
