MrWoody83 Posted 2 February, 2010 Posted 2 February, 2010 You got your tickets yet ? If not, then I doubt you will. Spoke to the ticket office today and they said that the rules are being followed strictly and anyone who did somehow manage to get a ticket as you have described, they won't be sent out. I've tried as have several mates using their customer numbers and the online system won't allow it. The club are concerned that if pompey fans get in amongst the home fans there will be trouble and the club could have to play games behind closed doors. Therefore ticket rules are being adhered to. Arrived this morning. They should really tighten up the website.
richie Posted 2 February, 2010 Posted 2 February, 2010 You can link tickets to Walsall, Swindon, Leeds and Huddersfield (might be Hartlepool instead of Huddersfield - cant remember) Spoke to ticket office yesterday. The girl said they were expecting queues so I am getting down there early doors from Buckinghamshire!
Dr Octopus Posted 2 February, 2010 Posted 2 February, 2010 has anyone recieved pompey tickets that they ordered online?? surely they cant not send them out when they have taken the money out your bank account already? I got my 4 extras I ordered online on Friday for pompey today. It said I was at my limit first time, I went back on the browser & tried again & it went through.
Nidger Posted 2 February, 2010 Posted 2 February, 2010 Guys Can somebody please answer a couple of questions for me about the Pompey game?: 1) If I am not a season ticket holder or on the database, am I right to assume that I have no chance of getting a ticket for this game?; and 2) If all 4 of the season ticket holders in my family have already purchased their tickets for the game before the Wednesday 3rd February deadline, can they buy an additional ticket for me after the Wednesday 3rd February deadline? Cheers Nidge

sandwichsaint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Is the box office likely to be open on Saturday this weekend? Am I right in assuming we won't sell out by Saturday lunchtime? I have to drop two peeps at Twickers on Saturday lunchtime and it would be as easy to whip down the M3 on Sat early afternoon as to spend most of Thu and Fri queuing on the phones. ( I can't use the online facility, my account has never worked on there, it conflicts with an old email address I once used for mega store online shopping, sad but true). Loving this from the official site: box office hours, Mon-Fri 9.00 till 5.00, Saturdays - currently closed until match and season tickets are on sale. (checked the posted date - posted on Sun 31st May 2009) Why, oh why, oh why is the OS such a pile of tripe when it comes to ticket info and sales? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~1677654,00.html
4737_carlin Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Can someone answer the query above regarding non season ticket holders getting tickets.
Saint_clark Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Can someone answer the query above regarding non season ticket holders getting tickets. Aren't you a Pompey fan?

Tomobz Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 what do you mean ? How did you buy extra tickets ? for some reason some people have been able to purchase a ticket without being a season ticket holder with just there customer numbers through the online sales site. also some season ticket holders have been able to buy there existing seat and one additional seat through the online site... i don't know why but they have.
UlsterSaint1 Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 for some reason some people have been able to purchase a ticket without being a season ticket holder with just there customer numbers through the online sales site. also some season ticket holders have been able to buy there existing seat and one additional seat through the online site... i don't know why but they have. I dont believe that as i tried last week and it said i was restricted once i hit the purchase button.Just noticed that the game has been taken off the online sales. But will phone in the morning and hopefully get sorted.
PaulSaint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 No its true my friend, got myself & brother one online last Thursday with one customer number. I think they forgot to amend / restrict it from the usual 2 down to one, Mr Luker spotted what was going on & changed it later.
PaulSaint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Go in the chapel stand, it will be just what you want. True but he also needs to love silence, tartan blankets up to the neck & a strong smell of Bovril.
MrWoody83 Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 I was a lucky one that was able to buy 2 tickets unrestricted. chuffed !

Matthew Le God Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 There is really no need to sleep at the stadium overnight.
saintkiptanui Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Agree but can anyone tell me when the ticket office opens???
sfcjmcsfc16 Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Opens at 1am when i get there tonight !, As by the time i get there!, the reason for this i live 2hour drive, and dont fancy it tomorrow would rather get this done! UP THE SAINTS!

.comsaint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Someone on the UI has just driven past St Mary's and there are 6 people bedding down for the night. Now that's dedication!

Dr Octopus Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Phone lines open at 8.30 or 9.00 at the kiosks. So it says on the OS. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~1635574,00.html
Dr Octopus Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 You could try phoning whilst queing to see which is quickest!!!
hypochondriac Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Opens at 1am when i get there tonight !, As by the time i get there!, the reason for this i live 2hour drive, and dont fancy it tomorrow would rather get this done! UP THE SAINTS! If you are anywhere near Bournemouth you are welcome to stay at mine.
StD Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Sorry if this has already been asked before, but does anyone know which other home games I can link to when I (hopefully) get tickets tomorrow? The OS obviously says... "If supporters cannot make the Walsall game, other fixtures can be chosen at the discretion of each supporter" I'm guessing I can only get tickets for games on general sale - the latest info I can find on the OS is dated 26th December and says only up to Leeds on general sale... surely there must be more games on general sale now? Cheers.
hypochondriac Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Decision time. Do I get a stupidly early train tomorrow or do I not bother and just ring the TO in the morning?
Morph Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Ordered mine on Monday, arrived today. Good service Morph
UlsterSaint1 Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Can you use a debit card over the phone?
Langleysaint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Can you use a debit card over the phone? Yes you can mate.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Someone on the UI has just driven past St Mary's and there are 6 people bedding down for the night. Now that's dedication! Or stupid! I'm probably going to arrive at around 6am, don't expect to be front of the queue but at least I won't have lost any toes or fingers to frostbite
Right sider Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 In 96 I queued at 11pm the night before and had a right laugh with the other die hards. Will be down about 6am tomorrow
LGTL Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Our 3 tickets arrived this morning, used to all be ST holders but not this year. They really need to tighten up the online sales. Never mind, saves me ****ing around tomorrow, and saved us about £30 each by not having to link them.
adethorne Posted 3 February, 2010 Posted 3 February, 2010 Phoned ticket office last thing today for advice: They said no need to queue overnight, plenty of tickets left, would probably take 2-3 days to sell. Extra staff on phone lines tomorrow and friday, phones and ticket office windows will open at 9am not before. They will be very particular about customer numbers on database though because of old bill directive, only one ticket per customer number. FACT. Linked game is basically any of the next home games currently on sale
