saintkiptanui Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Had a lovely weekend in Vienna, lots of beautifull women, loads of German sausage and I met a famous Austrian skier and kissed him, I recommend Vienna to everyone.
Atticus Finch of Maycomb Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 I went to Vienna last year. Thought it was great.
badgerx16 Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 This means nothing to me. ( Well, come on, somebody had to say it )
RedAndWhite91 Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 This means nothing to me. ( Well, come on, somebody had to say it ) Beat me to it haha
pilsburydoughboy Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Klammer ? No the queues were very short
niceandfriendly Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Very cool place but the public toilet cleaners are very feisty.
saintkiptanui Posted 31 January, 2010 Author Posted 31 January, 2010 It's so nice to go into a bar/pub and sit down and know within a couple of minutes someone will come and serve you, why is England so backward??
hamster Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Had a lovely weekend in Vienna, lots of beautifull women, loads of German sausage and I met a famous Austrian skier and kissed him, I recommend Vienna to everyone. Did your room have 'rising damp'? I scare myself sometimes!
Ludwig Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 This means nothing to me. ( Well, come on, somebody had to say it ) I'm trying to work out if this joke is what I think it is. If it is, I am surprised. If it isn't, what is it?
Ludwig Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Oh no, a quick google shows it's a song lyric, rather than a reference to the Vienna Circle and the hard verificationism as employed by the logical positivists who sprang from the aforementioned group. For a moment there, I was excited. My hopes and dreams are destroyed, once again.

Master Bates Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 I've always wanted to go to Austria, and some day I will.
thesaint sfc Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Viennaaaaaaa.

St Landrew Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 Did your room have 'rising damp'? I scare myself sometimes! OK, I'm going to stick my neck out here, hamster, and suggest you're mixing up Vienna with Venice. Am I right..?
badgerx16 Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 OK, I'm going to stick my neck out here, hamster, and suggest you're mixing up Vienna with Venice. Am I right..? Clue - Rigsby's cat...........
Scudamore Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 It's so nice to go into a bar/pub and sit down and know within a couple of minutes someone will come and serve you, why is England so backward?? And paper towels in toilets. Most of mainland Europe i've visited seems to understand it's such a nicer way to dry your hands. Not in England.
St Landrew Posted 1 February, 2010 Posted 1 February, 2010 Clue - Rigsby's cat........... Ah..! I was never a fan of Rising Damp, and so didn't know that one. I assume the cat's name was Vienna, then. Bit cryptic for here, don't you think..?
