One Wayne Bridge ...theres only one Wayne Bridge

Yorkshire Saint

Gets my 100% support and hopefully all other Saints ....think he is gonna be the most hurt in this John terry / Newspaper affair.

Remember the problems this caused at our place with Kevin Phillips good lady Brett and co.

Terry is a c**t who I hope gets sacked as England captain.

I always assumed Bridge was gay.

Haha, he's not gay, sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I 'knew' Bridger from my time in Winch and we both had a long chat at the Ocean Club in Marbella after the last world cup when many of the England players were there for Ashley Coles stag do. She was pregnant at the time and looked lovely, we even shared a joke that he was punching above his weight!

On a serious note, he's a top fella, both him and Joe Cole were happy to pose for photos for me and he remembered the flag we got him to sign at Stamford Bridge when we first played them after his transfer and spent a good half an hour chatting to me as a fellow Saints fan.

I hope he can get over this and move on.

And as for Terry? I thought he was a God at first, a proper centre back, a leader, an England Captain. Over the last couple of years, we've all begun to see his weakness' and that he's actually pathetic.

Will I support him at the World Cup? Of course. Do I think he's a sleazy, cheating ****? Most definitely.

Once again, good luck Bridger.

Man has an affair with a colleague's girlfriend who he may not have been with at the time anyway. Big deal.

Who really cares about players' personal lives? Or any "celebrity" for that matter? Unless of course you actually know them then it doesn't really make any difference does it? I've no doubt there will be a massive campaign to strip Terry of the England captaincy but that would be based on non-football reasons and a bit sad really. I'm sure everyone will disagree with me on this.....

This kind of thing goes a long way to explain why I struggle to get excited about watching England play.

Its sad but true - I support Saints far more than I support England.

Players like Terry, Ferdinand, David James & Ashley Cole are over-paid, obnoxious and full of self importance!

Very few characters in the England side now too - just full of spoilt ****s.

Really? Are players personal lives that interesting to you? I just watch the football but maybe I'm missing out......

He's a ****, Cashley is a ****. I'm not that interested in their personal lives, just find it hard to support such players. Definately club over country for me.

Having said that, they'll probably both be playing for us in a couple of years when we win the Premiership.

If only we can get promotion Bridgey would be my number one signing. I am certain he'd drop a League at this stage in his career to come home to the place where he truly belongs and is loved.

As for Terry, he's the biggest C U * T in English football. How someone like him can represent England and be captain too I'll never know. He's no more than an effeminate t*sser who's spent his life pretending to be a man to be detriment of everyone he has the misfortune to cross his path. Easy to see why neither Bridgey and Michael Owen ever get a sniff these days of representing their country.

My Mum used to describe some of my Dad's aquaintances (he's from Clapham) friends as "London Wide Boys"; I guess she meant blokes like John Terry.

Cole needs a good shoeing too - he's appealing a ban for doing 104 in a 50 and has asked for 21 days to pay his £1000 fine (he earns that in about an hour)

Now I'm sure the squad of 66 were naughty boys from time to time but surely not to this scale of muppetry. How parents can let kids hero-worship these ****s is beyond me...

the serial ****ging doesn't particularly worry me, but the crass stupidity of losing £40000 a week between the 3 of them should earn them time in padded cells, hopefully all in the same one.

Being a good football player and having common sense don't always go together then. :p

I would liked to have earned £40,000 in a year.

Bloody british press are probably loving this prior to a World Cup. Every ****ing year of a major championship they do their utmost to destabilise England's plans.

I'm not excusing Terry by any means but it now means we're probably be lumbered with Steven' Roy of the Rovers' Gerrard or Rio 'complete and utter thick c()nt' Ferdinand as captain...

Who cares? Really, honestly, who actually cares about this?

Those people who say this is another reason why they don't share the same passion for England as they do their club - it's a question of personal morality? Or some have said it's because they're overpaid? Surely you realise that even at div 1 level footballers are not saints (excuse the pun) and still overpaid.

This is just a domestic issue and concerns only those directly involved. It's not remotely interesting and has no relevance. If this is the type of thing that floats your boat then it's probably best to stick to the pages of "Hello" and "Chat" rather than the back pages.

Perfect summary and exactly how I feel.

OMG, spot on.

Try telling that to the NoTW lawyer yesterday who was positively dribbling while explaining the public 'have a right to know'

Seriously... I mean, if you get your knickers in a twist over this then you are a bit of a spacker...

What? Aged 30, being paid £100k a week, playing for Man City towards the top of the PL and would be prepared to drop to CCC? I think you've been on the happy pills!

look at alternatives... Rooney (yob), Ferdinand (dickhead) and Gerrard (dickhead and a yob) :o

Has to be Rooney, he's everything this country stands for and in the form of his life. He's been world class this season, as good as anyone in the world.

Could make him as a player, like it did when Beckham was made captain.
