brmbrm Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 I very rarely LOL on here but this is the exception to the rule . The sight of a huge cardboard cheque being presented to PFC from Saints fans to the value of £1.46 would be absurdly funny - lets do it . Yup, you've convinced me. Count me in for 1 shiny new penny! 145 people to go then.
Ricky Redstripe Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 They can have Pulis Bloody hell, talk about kicking them while they're down.
benjii Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 A properly organised bucket collection and a giant cheque would be just about the funniest thing in football (apart from PFC that is).
rocknrollman no2 Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Applaud the sentement, but come on,this is the Skates ffs. How many of them would have helped us out? With the exception of maybe one or two geniune pompey fans, most i met were only to glad of our demise. So would i like to give money to help Pompey? Would i f__k!!
Rogerfryisalegend Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 (edited) no thanks, they laughed at us, now, im laughing back. If you wanna have a collection make it for the people of Haiti, they need it much more than helping to pay the wages of footballers that have done **** all to help the club they play for. Edited 29 January, 2010 by Rogerfryisalegend
benjii Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Are you people all a bit silly? It wouldn't help them one jot. It would be the ultimate ****-take. It should happen.
Rogerfryisalegend Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Are you people all a bit silly? It wouldn't help them one jot. It would be the ultimate ****-take. It should happen.Nah, i would rather just give my money to something that would save lives, than waste in on those ****s.
Minsk Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Yup, you've convinced me. Count me in for 1 shiny new penny! 145 people to go then. 144, just let me know where to send the cheque. It really would be funny as fook to do this!
Nineteen Canteen Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Good god no! I don't even like paying for parking when I have to go down there as that is going into their city funds. Rebel. Don't like doing it, but does it anyway.
swannymere Posted 29 January, 2010 Author Posted 29 January, 2010 I'll look into getting a big cheque, but if we can raise £100 from a bucket collection it would be funny as ****, i'm sure the media would love it!
joffystevens Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 especially on sky it would **** them off even more, if that wouldn't make the back pages of the newspapers i don't know what would!!
Pilchards Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 Pass them a cheque over but make sure it's bounces so they know what it feels like.
miltonroad Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 I very rarely LOL on here but this is the exception to the rule . The sight of a huge cardboard cheque being presented to PFC from Saints fans to the value of £1.46 would be absurdly funny - lets do it . I think we should be looking to raise a grand total of £6.57. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
Loyal Saint Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 I think we should be looking to raise a grand total of £6.57. I'm sure they would appreciate it. £6.57, nice idea, unfortunatley they'd arrive too early and **** off before the event started
Ricky Redstripe Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 I think we should be looking to raise a grand total of £6.57. I'm sure they would appreciate it. That would be funny. £6.57. Where could you possibly have gotten that figure from???
Dr Who? Posted 29 January, 2010 Posted 29 January, 2010 They can rot in hell and start all over again from the bottom..... I will not be sorry if they go out of business, and if they are saved by someone then fair enough. I hate them, but love the banter between the two of us, but more worries about Saints and getting back to the Prem!!
Junior Mullet Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 I'll look into getting a big cheque, but if we can raise £100 from a bucket collection it would be funny as ****, i'm sure the media would love it! I reckon if you got to the ground early enough you would make SSN and a few papers. I would PMSL. Genius idea.
Saint_clark Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 We definitely need to get the big cheque idea off the ground.
Matthew Le God Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 (edited) Pay - Ali Al Mirage Toblerone, Clocks and Cheese Banking Six pounds and fifty seven pence only £6.57 Signed - 32,000 Saints Fans © Matthew Le God 2010 Edited 30 January, 2010 by Matthew Le God
Bald Headed Jesus Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 no thanks, they laughed at us, now, im laughing back. If you wanna have a collection make it for the people of Haiti, they need it much more than helping to pay the wages of footballers that have done **** all to help the club they play for. This is spot on frankly.

Windmill Arm 2 Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 In times of need i think we should ignore what's happened previously, bury the hatchet so to speak and offer the hand of friendship to our less well off fishy-friends down the road. I suggest a bucket collection before, during and after the match to scrape together some much needed funds for the blue few, hell we might raise enough to pay for the teams bus fare to and yes indeed from St.Mary's. Any other fund raising ideas? No **** em
Minsk Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 I think we should be looking to raise a grand total of £6.57. I'm sure they would appreciate it. Excellent!!
Saints Warrior Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 let em rot, no collection for us just stupid comments from the skates. Twice I have been there and they didnt get us into game till 20 mins into the game....I want my money back....
ChrisPY Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 Brilliant idea. We'd barely raise enough to pay for John Utaka for half a day so it's not going to be helping them. Just a massive p*ss take.
SNSUN Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 A collection for the Skates is on a parallel to a collection being taken where I work for a manager who, for the last seven years has made my life a living hell, and who is retiring. I told the person taking the collection to sod off. I only give money to good causes or people I like.

SNSUN Posted 30 January, 2010 Posted 30 January, 2010 woooosh! Actually, that was just a chance for my to moan about my ex-manager! :-D
swannymere Posted 30 January, 2010 Author Posted 30 January, 2010 Actually, that was just a chance for my to moan about my ex-manager! :-D FFS, make it clear, the morons don't do subtle or irony
deadpanmatt Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Although I don't want Pompey do disappear, I don't see why I should contribute my money when the owners can't even be arsed to pay their players on time. I would probably contribute if it was just to pay staff though (average Joes who work for the club).
St. Jason Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 In times of need i think we should ignore what's happened previously, bury the hatchet so to speak and offer the hand of friendship to our less well off fishy-friends down the road. Any other fund raising ideas? Why waist time with buckets, surely it will be a lot less time consuming to just throw the coins into their end???????????
SaintRichmond Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Anyone know how many Buckets have been collected so far ???:)
ringwood Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 maybe everyone takes just a bucket to St Marys, make sure they all have hole in the bottom for any money to fall thru exactly as it does in their finance office we could still say Saints fans having a bucket collection for PFC, dear lisa theres a hole in my bucket
This Charming Man Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 I'd only contribute if the proceeds were to be lobbed at the Skates throughout the game.
benjii Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 FFS people. We're talking about a few pence each. It will not help! It will be the biggest ****-take ever. How would you have felt if they'd done it to us last season? You'd be completely gutted!
docker-p Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 no thanks, they laughed at us, now, im laughing back. If you wanna have a collection make it for the people of Haiti, they need it much more than helping to pay the wages of footballers that have done **** all to help the club they play for. I agree. Not even as a p*ss take
mcjwills Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Think how embarrassed they would be by a collection at the game by saints fans, best **** take for ages, especially if sky got to hear about it, and I am sure some wag will emailthem to let them know it was happening, There could only be one person to collect the big check at St Marys on a match day and it must be TCWTB
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Just throw the coins at em, let them grovel on the floor for it like the bottom feeders they are..
StAndy1970 Posted 31 January, 2010 Posted 31 January, 2010 Pompey manager caught coming out of brothel down horton heath, close to having electricity cut off over unpaid bill of £20K. My oh my, how much lower can the blue few sink!!!! LOL
