I very rarely LOL on here but this is the exception to the rule . The sight of a huge cardboard cheque being presented to PFC from Saints fans to the value of £1.46 would be absurdly funny - lets do it . :D

Yup, you've convinced me. Count me in for 1 shiny new penny!

145 people to go then.

A properly organised bucket collection and a giant cheque would be just about the funniest thing in football (apart from PFC that is).

Applaud the sentement, but come on,this is the Skates ffs.

How many of them would have helped us out?

With the exception of maybe one or two geniune pompey fans, most i met were only to glad of our demise.

So would i like to give money to help Pompey?

Would i f__k!!

no thanks, they laughed at us, now, im laughing back.

If you wanna have a collection make it for the people of Haiti, they need it much more than helping to pay the wages of footballers that have done **** all to help the club they play for.

Are you people all a bit silly?

It wouldn't help them one jot. It would be the ultimate ****-take. It should happen.

Nah, i would rather just give my money to something that would save lives, than waste in on those ****s.

I think we should be looking to raise a grand total of £6.57. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

£6.57, nice idea, unfortunatley they'd arrive too early and **** off before the event started

They can rot in hell and start all over again from the bottom..... I will not be sorry if they go out of business, and if they are saved by someone then fair enough.

I hate them, but love the banter between the two of us, but more worries about Saints and getting back to the Prem!!

I'll look into getting a big cheque, but if we can raise £100 from a bucket collection it would be funny as ****, i'm sure the media would love it!

I reckon if you got to the ground early enough you would make SSN and a few papers. I would PMSL. Genius idea.

In times of need i think we should ignore what's happened previously, bury the hatchet so to speak and offer the hand of friendship to our less well off fishy-friends down the road. I suggest a bucket collection before, during and after the match to scrape together some much needed funds for the blue few, hell we might raise enough to pay for the teams bus fare to and yes indeed from St.Mary's. Any other fund raising ideas?

No **** em

A collection for the Skates is on a parallel to a collection being taken where I work for a manager who, for the last seven years has made my life a living hell, and who is retiring.

I told the person taking the collection to sod off. I only give money to good causes or people I like.

Although I don't want Pompey do disappear, I don't see why I should contribute my money when the owners can't even be arsed to pay their players on time. I would probably contribute if it was just to pay staff though (average Joes who work for the club).

Why waist time with buckets, surely it will be a lot less time consuming to just throw the coins into their end???????????

maybe everyone takes just a bucket to St Marys, make sure they all have hole in the bottom for any money to fall thru exactly as it does in their finance office

we could still say Saints fans having a bucket collection for PFC,

dear lisa theres a hole in my bucket

FFS people. We're talking about a few pence each. It will not help!

It will be the biggest ****-take ever. How would you have felt if they'd done it to us last season? You'd be completely gutted! :)

I agree.

Not even as a p*ss take

Think how embarrassed they would be by a collection at the game by saints fans, best **** take for ages, especially if sky got to hear about it, and I am sure some wag will emailthem to let them know it was happening, There could only be one person to collect the big check at St Marys on a match day and it must be TCWTB

Pompey manager caught coming out of brothel down horton heath, close to having electricity cut off over unpaid bill of £20K. My oh my, how much lower can the blue few sink!!!! LOL
