Generally I only read the post-match threads now - ironically, they're usually the worst train-wrecks of all. Win, lose, or draw the first three pages are hysterical crap from people who weren't there, then you have about two pages of stuff worth reading from people who were at least at the game (even if you don't agree with their analysis) interspersed with more hysterical crap, then the last five pages are just bickering. There used to be a separate "Just got back" thread after matches, as I recall; would quite like to see that again.

Certainly not as good humoured as it used to be that's for sure.

I don't think you championing his cause will actually make things better, to be honest. It should be someone who is well respected by the majority of the members and admin. Someone like StuSpadefaceSaint/St Will or maybe someone with a track record of helping the disadvantaged - either Bridge Too Far or Tijuana Tim.

I suppose it's proof that anyone can get used to anything. Makes you wonder whether they could have got used to the extinction of SFC, or relegation to League Two..?

This is true, but then we were in the Premiership, somewhere around 4th or 6th in the table, and WGS was a laugh every time he opened his mouth to comment about his yoghurt's sell-by date.
